I had trouble with the room reservation where we changed to an ADA room and wasn't told they only have single king beds, instead of two queens. Had to come in through construction area with intense chemical smells and what looked like sanded black mould on the wall by the elevator. Room kinda shabby with the top of the TV cabinet not even attached and cockeyed. Strange burn(?) on carpet, weird patch on the ceiling, and part of the lampshade peeling away. Rooms were generally quiet and staff very courteous and helpful. Once the construction is finished hopefully the rooms will be much nicer.

May 16, 2025 · Merlin LittlefieldGreat place to stay. We were there for a convention. The Hotel staff was fantastic. The restaurant staff was very comptent and quick with food. I had a great time. It also very easy to get to from the highway.
May 01, 2025 · Andy RumphGreat, friendly service from arrival to departure. I stayed in a newly renovated room. Fantastic! Very comfortable and great water pressure (love that the most!!!). I recommend and will stay here again if in the area.
Jan 24, 2025 · Craig KellGood hotel with restaurant options inside (especially pleasant as it's been -9° during my stay). Had some allergic issues in the room on day 1 which were immediately fixed when I reported it. New rooms which are super nice and clean. Supermarkt and Dunkin option right next to the hotel (in case you're not up for the breakfast offered in the hotel)
Jan 14, 2025 · Joachim WorfDo NOT waste your time at this hotel... This past weekend, my wife and I had our wedding at the immaculate Grand View in Mendon. Her side of the family was coming from all over the world. We had people coming from Nigeria, London and Canada. It was extremely vital that we had a hotel for our guests to stay in. Unfortunately, the only hotel that was in the nearest vicinity was... This Double Tree Hotel.. Now booking multiple hotel rooms for an event is much different than booking one room online. We had to book with Roland Proulx, Roland was a nice guy, but unreliable.. In fact, the entire staff as a whole was unreliable, including Marie Thomason. Out of all our wedding vendors we had Double Tree Hotel was the worst vendor(s) to deal with. Getting Roland to respond to an email was like pulling teeth. Our guest kept asking us about an early check-in to get ready for our wedding, we couldn't give them an answer until two days before, because of many factors; one Roland struggled to answer us, and two, the rooms wouldn't be prepared for our guest. This blew my mind cause our wedding guest seemed like the only people in the hotel. Forget Marie Thomason, It seemed as if she went on a 3 month vacation, finally responding the day before the wedding. Which I could understand if a health issue was a factor.. But during our stay I saw both of these employees, they seemed fine as they walked by us without acknowledgment. The hotel has been going under renovations for quite some time now, for about two years, and all they were able to get done was half of the 5th floor. A year prior to our wedding Roland promised us a completed 5th floor for our guests. Well just two weeks prior from our wedding date, he makes us aware of his false promises. Unfortunately, only half of the 5th floor was completed. Therefore, the other half of our guest had to stay in those putrid, outdated rooms. I was truly embarrassed. They said the pool was the best feature, but once you walked into the water and looked up, the ceiling was falling apart. Who knows what was falling into the pool. Now the customer service is what really blew my mind. Imagine bringing 80 people into their hotel, during "slow season" and receiving shitty service. The Bartenders at Legends bar were EXTREMELY rude. If you don't like your job then quit. They truly made us feel unwelcomed when ordering a drink.. Come to find out we received that same service the following night, the same night of our wedding. Imagine spending money on an after party at a hotel bar and having such service. It's a shame. The morning after we hosted a $2,500 Buffet style Brunch for our guest from 8-12. Next thing you know, I have a employee coming up to me telling me she can't serve anymore.. It was 10am. Not all of my guest were up yet. Yet, they were already taking plates and silverware away WHEN THERE WAS STILL FOOD IN THE FOOD TRAYS!!!!! Please tell me how that makes any sense for a buffet style meal. Overall it was the worst experience of the weekend.
