Probably the worst hotel experience we've ever had. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was simple but decent. However, the front desk staff on two different shifts was absolutely horrible. Our mattress had a large dent in it, to the point that you would roll down to that side of the bed. It was well past being serviceable. When we brought it to the front desk staff's attention, he loudly sighed, rolled his eyes, and asked me what I wanted him to do about it. He then became argumentative and explained to me it wasn't his hotel so he felt no responsibility for it. He finally offered to give us another room, but it was almost 9:30 in the evening, and moving was too much to handle at that point. So we stayed in our original room, only to have him bang on the door 20 minutes later to find out which room we were in. The morning staff was not much better. Because the night staff told us "Sam" the manager would be in in the morning, we asked about speaking with him when we checked out. That gentleman was equally rude and showed annoyance that he had to come out of the back room to speak to us.

While the hotel aims to provide clean rooms upon check-in, some guests have reported issues with the condition of linens, with mentions of stained sheets, and challenges in obtaining fresh ones from the front desk. Customer service at the front desk has received mixed reviews; while some experiences might be satisfactory, others describe staff as unhelpful, argumentative, or slow to respond, with instances where guests had to wait for assistance. The hotel's policy regarding housekeeping seems to indicate that daily service may not be consistently proactive, with guests sometimes needing to request towel changes or trash removal.
The key features of Milford Inn revolve around providing essential comforts for its price point. A complimentary "simple but decent" breakfast is offered, which typically includes coffee, tea, and other basic breakfast items, providing a convenient start to the day without an additional cost. The hotel provides free parking, a valuable amenity that can help offset overall travel expenses, especially for guests with their own vehicles. It’s also known to be a pet-friendly establishment, which is a significant advantage for travelers with animal companions, though specific pet policies and fees should be confirmed directly with the hotel. Other basic amenities might include a 24-hour front desk (though staffing may vary, requiring calls for assistance at times), and potentially vending machines for snacks and drinks. Sep 24, 2023 · Bill Mesaeh, JrSaw the reviews and thought it would be a decent place. Check in is at 3. We got in at 2, a bit earlier than expected and was trying to see if they could get our room earlier or store our luggage. No one was at the counter when we walked in. Someone came out of the office and barely acknowledged us saying that there were no rooms available, come back at three. Then he walked away before we could ask if they had a place for our bags. We came back at three and no one was at the counter. There was a sign up to call a number to get help and no one answered. Thirty minutes later, someone came and helped us. We got to the room and the sheets were stained. We called down to ask for new sheets and the front desk man said he would have to come inspect the sheets. Fine with us. He handed us sheets and fought about the stains saying they were actually holes and it takes three months to get new sheets which is why they are using the sheets with stains/holes. He said fine and walked out. We stripped our own beds and put new sheets on. The new sheets were also unclean. I am disturbed by the sheer disrespect and carelessness this hotel has shown.
Sep 24, 2023 · Sarah KahnSam is awesome First time staying at this location and whenever I’m in this area again, I will definitely stay here again clean rooms. Awesome Hot Breakfast.
May 08, 2023 · Rajan PatelI've stayed here a handful of times the property is clean as are the rooms etc. Although my only ever problem with this place is the breakfast they serve is kind of lacking they should charge a couple bucks more and upgrade the choices and someone is a bit overzealous with the use of disinfectant or doesn't rinse their coffee brewer after washing it. Figured the first few times I stayed it was a one off thing but before I had left made a cup of coffee and ended up not drinking it it had a strong disinfectant or detergent flavor enough to leave my tongue kind of stinging. The people that work there very nice and they do a good job keeping the guest rooms very clean and tidy. There's a handful of restaurants in regular chain stores around so you're not without a means to keep yourself comfortable otherwise.
Nov 02, 2023 · joe newhartThe staff were all so accommodating. We had to make reservations last minute, due to our previous hotel having a pipe burst, and we had to move quick. The front desk guys were both so friendly. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, Breakfast was really good too!
