Great Budget Stay in a Charming Spot! Before booking, I saw a lot of negative reviews on Google, which made me hesitant—but since I was only staying for one night, I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I’m really glad I did! The place is super cozy and cute. Check-in was incredibly easy—they sent me a link beforehand, which made the whole process smooth and contactless. Both the lobby and my room were neat and clean. I also appreciated the free coffee and tea, and the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing—right in DuPont Circle, with lots of places within walking distance. It felt safe even at night, which is a big plus. I’m not sure what others experienced, but my stay was great. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and budget-friendly place in DC!

Jun 10, 2025 · Charcoli YReally enjoyed my stay here. I posted a video walkthrough of my room. I liked that i could check in with my phone and that I had a code to enter into my room. The lack of signage at the front desk to assist older folks on how to find things, when the front desk person will return, etc, would be wise. I got sucked into helping 4 separate groups of older Boomer -aged people who needed help with finding the elevator, what to do about a lost Roku remote (download the app), how to contact a person. I know these are sent via the digital check in but clear signage and way-finding would go a long way! The rooms were basic but nice. The windows opened up and the bed was comfortable. The location is fantastic and about a 35 min walk to downtown and the Capitol areas. I would definitely stay here again!
Apr 12, 2025 · Selina BradleyI would never stay here again! The shower was an absolute mess, the floor looked like it was peeling off. There was pink mold around the soap dispenser and I genuinely didn’t want to go in there. The stuffing in the comforter had gathered in certain parts of it, which made using it a bit uncomfortable. Location is great, very walkable, but I would definitely recommend staying someplace else.
Feb 28, 2025 · Caitlyn CuartasYou get what you pay for! The check in process was the only off part of my stay, however I booked a mere hour before I checked in so I don’t think their email/text triggers worked as they usually would. The room is small and CLEAN, but so was my bill lol so i didn’t expect much. The bed was comfortable, toiletries are C.O. Bigelow (great for most skins), and the TV easily connected to any streaming service I added with the ability to set when I’m checking out to erase my data. There are earplugs on the nightstand when you walk in- didn’t need them as the room was quiet morning to night. Also, elevator had some slight issues but nothing major. Location is great as it’s nestled on 16th st which is notoriously quiet, yet you can get to all the best clubs, restaurants, and sights within a 15-30 min walk through the clean streets of DC. As a native visiting my beloved city this was a GREAT option and can’t wait to go back!
Apr 11, 2025 · Travis RuizThis was the worst place I have ever stayed. Despite it being winter, the heating was not allowed above 66F. The cleanliness was disgusting, there were not enough outlets, and even the lighting was insufficient. I had good experiences staying at other sonder places, but this stay was a nightmare. If I could go back to when I made the reservation, I would never booked this place again. Even if someone I dislike were considering staying here, I would warn them against it. If you’re thinking about booking this place, seriously reconsider. I am very serious.
