This is a really cute hotel. The room was clean. I like having three beds in the room but wish that they were queen instead of full. The lights and AC took some figuring out. The bathroom was nice and not having carpet in the room was nice too. I could have done without the smell of cigarette smoke coming in through our closed door from the neighbor smoking outside. The breakfast selection was really disappointing too.

The property maintains a clean and well-kept exterior, and guests often appreciate the presence of outdoor furniture, such as rocking chairs, where they can relax and enjoy the mountain air. One of the most valued services is the complimentary continental breakfast, which offers a basic but satisfying start to the day, often including items like cereal, toast, coffee, and fruit. While the breakfast selection might be considered disappointing by some, it serves its purpose as a complimentary amenity. Rooms are generally described as clean and comfortable, equipped with essential amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, free in-room Wi-Fi, a coffee/tea maker, and a refrigerator. An iron/ironing board and hairdryer are also typically available. The rooms come with private bathrooms featuring a shower/tub combination and complimentary toiletries. While the hotel itself does not have an on-site casino, its location offers easy access to Harrah's gaming and entertainment options. The property also offers free Wi-Fi throughout, which is a standard but important feature for modern travelers. Select rooms may offer mountain views. It leverages its strong location as a primary selling point, highlighting its closeness to major attractions like the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the "Unto These Hills" outdoor drama, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino. They often offer special promotions and advance purchase deals. However, it's important to consider guest feedback to gain a balanced perspective. While many reviews praise the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfortable beds, and the excellent location for walking to shops and the park, some recurrent issues are noted. The breakfast selection, while complimentary, can be disappointing to some. Noise from other occupants, particularly those returning late from the casino, has been a concern for some guests, and responsiveness to noise complaints can vary. The smell of cigarette smoke seeping into non-smoking rooms from outside has also been mentioned. Despite these points, the overall sentiment often leans positive due to the value for money, the convenient location, and the generally positive interactions with staff. The hotel is particularly well-suited for travelers who are seeking a clean, safe, and cost-effective place to sleep, with the primary purpose of their visit being to explore the Cherokee area and its attractions rather than to spend extensive time at the hotel's facilities. It's a practical choice for those who value location and affordability above luxurious amenities or extensive on-site entertainment.

Apr 27, 2025 · Christine JohnsonThe location is great and within walking distance of all the shops. The downfall is the fact that other occupants came back after a concert drunk and continued to drink out on the balcony. They were loud, rude and absolutely belligerent throughout the early morning hours. Called the front desk and after 3 tries I was able to get someone. She said she would take care of it but never did. Honestly they should have been kicked out and removed from the property and banned indefinitely. Told the manager the next morning and said that she would discount our stay but never did. I called corporate and the only compensation I received was points for being a member and I had to sign up to even get them. This was our first and last time there.
Feb 11, 2025 · Donieca McCallTruly exceeded our expectations. Room was exceptionally clean, staff was kind and attentive, bed was comfortable and breakfast options, for being pre-prepared, tasty. Things to note that some might find less than ideal: no microwave in the room and TV not great, super budget TV, very few channels and weird reception - grainy, odd aspect ratios. But for our needs it was just fine.
Dec 13, 2024 · Kathy VanKleeckGreat clean, quiet room, comfortable bed. Amazing staff. Great location. Affordable price. I would stay there again.
Apr 20, 2025 · Scott SandThis place has the best staff imaginable. Above and beyond service! While booking our room in October we jokingly requested “a framed photo of Patrick Star on the nightstand,” never once expecting them to actually deliver… but they did. Upon checking in we discovered this hand-drawn, hand-crafted, framed photo sitting right on the nightstand as requested. My girlfriend and I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling about it for at least half an hour. It made our entire night, maybe our entire trip. Also, the room was clean and smelled fresh, which was a great bonus :)
