We found a nice quaint and quiet motel here in Cherokee! The owners, Mark and Sue, are fabulous people! The office area has such curb appeal. It's obvious you take care of your place. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches are served in their outside covered dining area each morning. There's also a microwave located there since there's isn't one in the room. Each room has two rocking chairs outside their front doors. Our room was very clean, and no bugs were seen. Upon entering, there is a slight musty smell, but you get used to it the longer you're in there. There aren't any sheers in the window, so we had to keep the blinds closed, which made the room dim. Another lamp on the desk could solve the dimness. The mattress was great, along with the water pressure in the shower. We so enjoyed our stay here. If we're ever back here again, we're staying here.

Apr 23, 2025 · L DThe best thing about the stay was the pleasant staff and the breakfast. I used a hair clip to keep the curtains closed. At least the room was clean. I still can't believe I paid almost $100 for that night. I took room and outside pictures because the ones I saw on the website were misleading to me. The location is good for tourists in Cherokee.
May 19, 2025 · Marie GibsonAbsolutely amazing hotel!!! Right down the road from the casino! Great location!! The cleanest rooms around!! The staff is absolutely amazing the gentlemen of the night and his son of the day! I have comp hotels at the casino and still prefer this hotel and stay here instead!! 10/10 recommend you won’t be disappointed!
May 24, 2025 · Melissa BurchfieldIt’s not as advertised. They don’t allow smoking anywhere on property yet none of their rooms are described as nonsmoking. The description I saw today has a small detail about a smoking fee. They show a lobby in the pictures yet they ask you to check in thru a window. Entering the room, you are fragrance bombed by five different air fresheners they have sitting around to mask odor. The owner was overly aggressive when I shared concerns about not being able to smoke outside to the point I decided I didn’t want to stay there anymore. He then became more enraged, screaming I wouldn’t receive a refund and don’t leave him negative review, while pointing in my face. I handed the key to the man working at the window. The man stood shocked, then screamed dad, after watching this play out. Clearly not his first time seeing this happen. I reminded him I’m a customer and definitely couldn’t stay there after the way he acted. I left. I feel their description and pictures show angles of the property to lure you in. When you arrive the place looks like unkept trailer homes connected together with a gravel parking lot. I felt like I had been pranked. It didn’t look safe to me and the owner didn’t create a welcoming environment. Not to mention they sale the room non-refundable and try to use it to keep you there.
May 04, 2025 · E WayneOh my gosh! What a cute cozy suite! The owner was beyond helpful and nice! An experience we will cherish a lifetime! Not to mention His wife. She makes an incredible breakfast and it’s 6 mins away from the casino! You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!
