If you want a place to escape the busyness of life this is the place. Elk Hallow exceeded our expectations! We stayed in The Safari tent. It was immaculate, the decor was so well thought out, with some of the neatest little details. We spent the majority of our 5 days right there on the porch grilling out and relaxing in the hot tub. The canopy of leaves and the smell of spring all around you. They have a beautiful nature trail that goes throughout the property with well built wooden bridges crossing the creek that ends at an area with wooden swings to sit and enjoy all the nature around you. We will definitely be back and will share with all we know what a great place to escape to.

May 14, 2025 · Carrie SpeightWe had the best time at Lookout Lodge. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The hot tub was perfect for the kids and there was cornhole and fire pit for the adults to enjoy. The nighttime sky is illuminated with thousands of stars. The drive up to the house is curvy and feels a bit adventurous at the beginning. We found it quite fun. Bryson City and the falls were amazing to visit as well.
Apr 21, 2025 · M KennedyThis was an absolutely incredible stay for my wife and me. We celebrated our one-year anniversary here and I hope we can come back year after year. The view was incredible, the tent was so comfortable and every detail was thought of, right down to the heated mattress pad! Incredible communication from the host. Downtown is close by, though we didn’t really venture out. If you forced me to say something critical about the location: the hill is steep to get up but I was able to make it with my front-wheel drive Mazda 3 and some gusto. Highly recommend!
Apr 24, 2025 · Chris SchulistMy wife and I had an amazing trip to Elk Hollow Canopy for our 20th anniversary! The interior and exterior setup of the safari tent was perfect and very romantic. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day having fun. The private bonfire pit was very nice. Chilling on the deck up amongst the trees could not have been any more peaceful. In addition, the proximity of the driveway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park could not be beat. Elk Hollow you nailed it and we plan to be back as soon as possible.
May 06, 2025 · Chris SykesOur second stay at Lost Creek this year. Jeanetta (hostess) is great, as is this place. I highly recommend Elk Hollow for a romantic getaway that is close to town but feels secluded. The safari tents are immaculate and so quirky and cool. With a fire pit, huge deck and a hottub for two this setting is a great retreat spot to recharge and refocus.
