Again this is a great place to stay loved it and definitely plan on going back.

Stonebrook Lodge Bryson City offers 50 smoke-free and pet-free rooms, designed for comfort and functionality. Room types include 2 Queen Beds (with or without a balcony), 1 King Bed (with or without a balcony), a 1 King Bed with Jacuzzi and balcony, and handicap-accessible options with either a King or 2 Queen beds, both with balconies. All rooms are tastefully decorated and described as "clean" and "spacious." Standard in-room amenities typically include a mini-refrigerator, microwave, flat-screen TV (often 4G full HD SMART TVs), individual climate control (air conditioning and heating), and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms, particularly the Queen and King rooms, also feature a "micro bar" with a sink. About 37 of the 50 rooms feature a fresh air balcony, offering guests a pleasant outdoor space. The beds are generally reported as comfortable, though some guests have noted them to be either "very soft" or "extremely soft and mushy," suggesting a degree of personal preference may apply. One specific issue noted in a review related to a non-functional tub drain and lukewarm water, indicating that while most amenities work perfectly, occasional maintenance issues can occur. However, the hotel aims to address these promptly, as seen in the quick resolution of a slow sink drain.
The services at Stonebrook Lodge Bryson City are geared towards providing a convenient and comfortable stay. A significant offering is the complimentary continental breakfast, served in the lobby from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. While described as "typical continental breakfast with waffles," some guests have noted a focus on "carbs" (waffles, cereal, bagels, prepackaged sweets, coffee, juices) and a desire for more protein options like hard-boiled eggs or fresh fruit. The hotel boasts a "very friendly staff" who are frequently praised for their helpfulness and courteous demeanor, making guests feel welcome. There is a 24-hour front desk, ensuring that assistance is always available. The lodge also provides free Wi-Fi throughout the property and in all rooms, although some past reviews indicate that the internet can be "quite slow" or prone to kicking users off, which might be a point of improvement. An indoor heated swimming pool is available on-site, providing a year-round option for relaxation and recreation. Other convenience facilities include a shared lounge/TV area, vending machines for snacks and drinks, and free private parking, including ample space for RVs, buses, and trucks. Express check-in/check-out services are also offered for a quicker process. Daily housekeeping is also available, ensuring rooms remain tidy throughout the stay.

Many guests "love this place and the atmosphere," praising it as "very well kept and clean." The staff are consistently described as "very friendly" and "helpful," often going the extra mile to assist guests. The prompt resolution of maintenance issues, as demonstrated by the quick fix of a slow sink drain, contributes to guest satisfaction. However, some areas for improvement have been identified by reviewers. The most common complaints relate to the Wi-Fi connectivity, which is frequently described as slow or unreliable. Issues with honor internet prices from booking sites, leading to additional costs upon arrival, have also been reported, highlighting a potential discrepancy that guests should verify. While the continental breakfast is appreciated, its limited variety (particularly a lack of protein options) is a recurrent point. Lastly, a specific incident regarding a non-functional tub drain due to unhooked overflows and insufficient hot water was a significant deterrent for one guest, though it appears to be an isolated and potentially addressed issue. Despite these points, the overall sentiment points to a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel with a welcoming atmosphere, making it a good value for many travelers.
In conclusion, Stonebrook Lodge Bryson City offers a compelling option for those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Bryson City, NC. Apr 22, 2025 · Arline GallegosThe good: rooms are clean and very quite. Location is good. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with waffles. The bad: they would not honor the internet price from booking.com. Cost an additional 50-60 bucks. The internet simply SUCKS. If we got online it kicked us off in very short time. The king room with tub/shower did indeed have a tub/shower but had no way to stop tub drain. Staff said overflows were not hooked up so tub couldnt be used. Unacceptable if true…or not. Hot water was not very hot and turned cool fairly quickly. In short, I will not stay here again. Could be a very nice place
Mar 27, 2025 · Rick ParkerStayed here for 2 days while doing the railroad excursion. Definitely a shocker for the city. A very nice hotel with great location. The only few qualms I would say, and this is me being picky, shower pressure definitely could be a lot better. The TV could have more than 18 channels as well for being DirecTV. The bed could possibly been one of the best I have ever been on. I need to find out what brand it is and buy one for home. The whole place was extremely clean and the front desk was very friendly. Bryson City, on the other hand, looks like a time well forgotten. Buildings everywhere empty and falling apart. The restaurants there are all mainly “dive bars” with not much selections.
Apr 02, 2025 · Billy LaneGreat hotel. Excellent service. Very clean. Quiet hallways and rooms. Excellent location just walk in/around town and close to restaurants. Great parking, too. Continental breakfast has waffle station, full selection. Highly recommend!
Apr 10, 2025 · Melissa DarrThis place is awesome! My husband and I decided to go to Bryson City for the weekend, and I found a good deal on this hotel. I booked it because my husband had never been on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, and it is just down the street. The location is fantastic, the property is pretty, and the staff were all very nice. Our room was large and clean, and the entire place was much nicer than similar branded hotels. We will definitely be back!
