We always travel to Alpharetta, GA and stayed many hotels there. We found this hotel was newer than others so we decided to stay. However, the room had no hot water for showers. We talked the staff and they told us that they couldn’t change the room for us since the hotel was full booked. The manager promised to refund us but when hotels.com contacted the manager. The manager said it was non refundable. But we booked two days stay and no hot water. The hotel should not rent this kind of room out. It’s their fault and now they refuse to refund us!!! Please stay from this hotel. There are other good hotels in Alpharetta and provide good customer services.

Customer reviews for Embassy Suites by Hilton Alpharetta Halcyon present a mixed but overall largely positive picture, with some significant concerns. Many guests praise the property for its "lovely" appearance, noting that it "looks amazing and the rooms are nice and comfy." The staff, such as Robert at check-in, are often commended for being "very warming" and providing helpful information. The complimentary Evening Reception, and specifically the bartender Jenny, received high praise, with one guest stating she was "truly amazing and is one of the main reason I will choose this property over the others." This indicates a strong positive impression regarding the hotel's amenities and the friendliness of certain staff members.
However, a significant concern raised by one customer detailed a severe issue with a lack of hot water for showers during a two-day stay. This review describes a negative experience with staff and management regarding resolution and refund, citing a manager who initially promised a refund but later denied it when contacted by Hotels.com. This suggests potential inconsistencies in problem resolution and adherence to customer service commitments, particularly for critical issues like a lack of hot water. Other reviews on various platforms also mention issues with slow-to-warm showers. While the hotel is generally considered "fairly new" or "brand new," implying modern facilities, these specific operational issues can significantly impact a guest's stay. Prospective guests searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" and considering this Embassy Suites should weigh these positive aspects against the reported issues, especially concerning hot water, and consider clarifying such operational details with the hotel prior to booking to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Mar 22, 2025 · Ishia AlexanderDisgusting and Disappointing - Embassy Suites Halcyon Has Gone Downhill We’ve stayed at Embassy Suites Halcyon a few times and usually love it. It’s become a bit of a go-to for our family. But after this Mother’s Day weekend, I’m done. We checked in Friday afternoon to a corner suite. Our daughters love having their own little space. It makes them feel grown up. But right off the bat, things started falling apart. First, the TV didn’t work. The remote was completely dead. We called the front desk, and someone came up to replace it. Not the end of the world, but come on, details like that shouldn’t get missed. Then we pulled out the sofa bed, and it got gross. The fitted sheet was covered in crumbs, food, and trash. We did our best to clean it up, but as we made the bed, we kept finding more debris. Called the front desk again, and a guy came up to change the fitted sheet and give us fresh linens. Not ideal, but okay, we figured that would be the end of it. Nope. Later that night, my daughter felt something crawling on her while lying on the same sofa bed. Naturally, she freaked out (as teenage girls do). I pulled out the cushions to see what was going on and found even more crumbs, wadded-up tissues, and - this is the kicker - a small bug right where her head had been. I’m no bug expert, but it was small, crawly, and absolutely not something you want in your bed. We called the front desk again, and they offered to move us to a new room. So we waited for security to bring new keys, packed up all our stuff (again), and moved down the hall. Once we got settled, the girls wanted to shower and try to get some sleep, but guess what? No hot water. At that point, we were too tired to deal with it anymore. We debated leaving entirely but just couldn’t muster the energy. The next morning at checkout, I explained all of this to the front desk. The response? “There’s nothing we can do since you prepaid.” They took our drink charges off the bill like that was supposed to make it better. Seriously? That’s how you handle dirty linens, bugs, and no hot water? I tried to do the right thing and sent a private email to the General Manager before leaving a public review but no response. Guess they couldn’t care less. We had reservations here for New Year’s Eve, but I canceled immediately. It’s clear Embassy Suites Halcyon just isn’t what it used to be. If you’re considering staying here, don't. Spend your money somewhere that actually cares about their guests and pays attention to details. Never again.
May 13, 2025 · Troy HeinzmanThis hotel is very nice! The morning breakfast is Outstanding! This may not be an issue for some people but the room AC is not very good. Both times I stayed here, I woke up in the middle of the night hot. On my second trip, I had maintenance check out the AC and I was assured that the room would cool down significantly during the night. However, the room remained warm the entire night.
Apr 01, 2025 · Tim HornsbyThe Embassy Suites at Halcyon is a great place if you’re looking to have a variety of restaurants just steps away from your residence. We’re 5 days in to an expected 4 week stay, and the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Our dogs love it, too. Not only is the hotel pet friendly, but so are the majority of the businesses that line the square. The room (we have a two room suite) is decently appointed, sufficient space for work and still room to relax. The king bed is super comfy and they provide a nice selection of pillows to fit your firmness. Their complimentary breakfast service in the morning has a good variety and the cooks will make you omelets to order, as well as some tasty waffles. It’s a great way to get you ready for the day ahead. I have to give shout outs to both Sharon and Robert at the front desk! They are always ready to help you with a welcoming smile!
