This hotel is great! I stayed here for work and honestly stay in a lot of hyatt places and this one is well kept up and breakfasts are significantly better than other locations. The chromecast worked well in room too! I don’t understand the negative reviews of this location, but as a hyatt loyalist this is on point. If you’re looking for an omelette bar those come with other chains, but this one is on point and I expect to be back!

The Hyatt Place Atlanta/Alpharetta/Windward Parkway is strategically situated in the vibrant Windward business district, a key commercial hub in Alpharetta. This prime location offers excellent accessibility for both business and leisure travelers. It's positioned near major corporate offices and technology companies, making it an ideal choice for those on business trips in the North Atlanta metro area.
The surrounding environment is characterized by a mix of commercial developments and green spaces. Guests will find themselves close to a wide array of dining options, from casual eateries to more upscale restaurants, catering to diverse culinary preferences. Popular shopping and entertainment destinations such as North Point Mall and the upscale Avalon mixed-use development are just a short drive away. Avalon, in particular, provides a lively atmosphere with high-end retail, diverse dining, and entertainment venues, offering plenty of activities for guests.

The area around the hotel generally provides a suburban feel with access to urban conveniences.
The Hyatt Place Atlanta/Alpharetta/Windward Parkway is designed to provide a seamless and comfortable experience with a range of modern services and amenities:
The defining feature of the Hyatt Place brand, and this location in particular, is its focus on modern design, intuitive amenities, and a seamless guest experience. The spacious room layouts with distinct sleeping and living areas set it apart from traditional hotel rooms, making it feel more like a mini-suite. The integration of technology, particularly the in-room Chromecast, is a significant draw for digitally-savvy travelers.
Customer reviews frequently highlight the hotel's "well-kept up" condition, indicating that the property is generally well-maintained, aligning with the expectations of a Hyatt loyalist. While one review mentioned "old interiors, worn-out furniture, and visible damage on walls," this appears to be an outlier compared to other feedback that praises the upkeep. The staff is consistently noted for being "polite and helpful," which is a crucial aspect of the guest experience.
Another important feature for safety is the concern raised by one guest regarding elevator access without room cards. While many modern hotels implement card-key access for elevators for enhanced security, the review suggests this might be a missing or inconsistent feature at this specific location, which is a point for guests to consider if security is a high priority.
As a part of the Hyatt family, the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Alpharetta/Windward Parkway participates in the World of Hyatt loyalty program, allowing members to earn and redeem points for stays, and access exclusive member-only rates. Guests can often find special offers and packages directly through the Hyatt website or via popular online travel agencies that feature "Hotels Near Of Me" listings. Promotions may include discounted rates, bonus points, or inclusions like free parking.
However, it's important for prospective guests to consider the full spectrum of customer feedback when making a decision:
In conclusion, the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Alpharetta/Windward Parkway offers a generally positive and modern hotel experience in a convenient Alpharetta location, making it a strong contender for those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me." Its complimentary breakfast, spacious rooms with Chromecast, and typically helpful staff are key strengths. However, potential guests should be aware of the occasional inconsistencies in room condition and potential security features, as reflected in some customer reviews, to ensure their stay aligns with their expectations.

Apr 23, 2025 · L SchmidtDisappointed with this Hyatt stay. The room felt more like a 2-star property—old interiors, worn-out furniture, and visible damage on walls. Even the bathroom looked outdated and not well-maintained. The staff was polite and helpful, but the overall condition of the hotel needs serious improvement. Whole security is missing, elevator shouldn’t be accessible without room cards.
May 13, 2025 · Ami SThe room was super clean, quiet, and just what I needed. Malcom was really kind and helpful—he made me feel welcome right away and gave great tips about the area. You can tell he cares about making sure guests have a good stay. I’d definitely come back.
Mar 31, 2025 · John BoletzBooked this hotel for a friend vacation and was excited about the hotel but when finally arriving the hotel wasn’t what was described starting off I called to ask did they have any EV chargers for the cars and the lady told me no but it was a Walmart five minutes up the street that we could charge the car But when going up the street to look for it there was none there. Also our hotel keys kept getting locked out so every day we had to go to the lobby to request new keys to get into our room. The breakfast wasn’t that good, they don’t have a big variety nor do they have substitutions all of the food was kinda plain and nasty but had to eat something to get the days started The front desk people had attitudes most of the time and wasn’t very helpful. On the website it said that the pool was open, but when going down to the front desk. to ask what time did the pool open/close we were informed that the pool wasn’t open and it wouldn’t be open till the end of the month which was a bummer cause definitely was looking forward to the pool When booking the room i booked for a suite with a microwave and refrigerator but when arriving into the room, I realized that it did not have a microwave. The room was very spacious in the front area but when going to the bedroom area part and the bathroom it was very compact and small. The bathroom was a major issue because you could barely move around in there. The tub and the toilet were literally so close together that your knees touched the tub when using the toilet Also had the do not disturb sign up on the door and on the last day before leaving housekeeping came into the room, and I know that they did because one of the trashcans was emptied out and more towels were added into the room, but when I have a do not disturb sign up, that means do not enter the room, but they still entered the anyway which I didn’t appreciate and should be against policy The elevators in the hotel take forever to come up and down and when you get on the elevator, it takes a minute for the light to come on just to start moving and to get to your floor so you have to wait at least a good two minutes before you can even get off the elevators they’re very slow moving And another thing the hotel is very off in the cut and is kinda far away from a lot of places or things and activities to do Overall I wouldn’t book this hotel again because it wasn’t worth it and it had a lot of misleading things
May 12, 2025 · Zahra WoodardWe recently stayed for only 5 nights of a pre-paid 7 night stay while my husband worked. The staff was just ok, some better than others, but overall seemed disinterested and lazy. We noticed on our first day that the iron in our room was broken, and we took it to front desk to swap out for a working one. We were told housekeeping would deliver it to our room. The next day, we still had not received it, so went back to front desk. This was a different employee who went to get us a new one immediately. It makes you wonder why that wasn't the initial solution. The breakfast offerings were some of the worst we've seen at any Hyatt Place ever, and the hot offerings were empty or nearly empty no matter what time we checked. I had to ask for plastic wear, coffee cups, and lids on more than one occasion because they were never refilled. The only trash can we could find anywhere on the property was in the breakfast area, and that included outside, so there was always trash in the parking lot. We regularly travel with our pet who is well-groomed and well-behaved. With that being said, our room had an overwhelming smell of dog once the air freshener wore off. Hotel policy here is to charge $200 if you stay for a week. I'm not sure how they are spending that money, but I can't imagine it is on deep cleaning after a pet has been in the room based on that smell. The only redeeming quality for this hotel is the convenient location with many dining options within walking distance. We stay in Hyatt Hotels for more than 60 nights each year, and I have never felt the need to write a poor review. I hope this is not the direction Hyatt Place is headed. After witnessing the lackluster staff, I believe it may be a management issue, and hopefully, with improved training and a reminder that they are in the hospitality industry, this place could turn itself around.
