I stayed at the SpringHill Suites Atlanta Alpharetta a few months ago and unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. The receptionist at check-in was rude and did not have her act together. I requested a room on the second or third floor and the receptionist was unprofessional and mentioned she had to ask housekeeping, but the customer service was disappointing. The room was dirty and outdated, and the doors, paint, and carpet were all unattractive and outdated. The pool was seasonal since it was outdoor so it was closed but it looked pretty good. Fitness center was satisfactory. The breakfast was mediocre, but had limited options available and they were out of several items, way before closing time. The one positive aspect of this hotel was that it was in a good location and the rates were good, but you get what you pay for in terms of low quality. Overall, I was highly disappointed with the unprofessional and rude customer service from the receptionist, the outdated and dirty rooms, and the limited options at the breakfast. I would not stay at this hotel again, and this hotel is not up to Marriott standards as a Gold Elite Marriott Bonvoy member.

May 17, 2025 · Blake CulbrethMy family stayed there for a wedding weekend. Every single employee that I interacted with was amazing! They were friendly, helpful, and made me feel like I was a priority. The room was wonderful, with the largest closet I have ever had at a hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast both mornings. I thought that the selection was very good. My only complaint, and the reason that I gave a 4 instead of a 5, was because the TV in the breakfast area was tuned to Fox News. A hotel serves people of all types, yet they chose a TV station that emphasizes only one point of view. Something more neutral, a show that would not be considered offensive to some people, would have been much more appropriate. A hotel's political preferences should not be obvious to guests. Guests of all beliefs should feel comfortable and welcomed during their stay. Their TV in a public area broadcasting comments that some people found offensive was unacceptable.
May 20, 2025 · Joni HuthGuess i should have read some reviews and looked at visitor pictures. Rookie mistake here. We have stayed at all sorts of springhills across the country and always have had great rooms until this trip. This was possibly the worst one we stayed at. The hotel is old and dingy. The rooms are small. My boss had a silverfish in the bathroom and another bug he found the next day. There is no thermostat at least in my room so i had to deal with the window unit basically only controlling the tiny space by the window. The TV had 2 darn remotes. The tv brand one for power on and off and volume and the hotel remote to change channels and stuff which i had to maah on the buttons to work. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. The shower doesnt have a door so the eater sprays on the wall and floor. The shower corners had black mold which was awesome. For breakfast they had the normal springhill stuff. But they didnt put out any cream cheese for bagels, i had to ask. And at some point they decided that chobani yogurt was too expensive and replaced it with walmart great value brand. The only two positives i can say are the service was good, they were friendly and the shower pressure was amazing! Felt like you were under a darn waterfall. That being said, never staying here again for future trips.
Apr 10, 2025 · Jacob GolickToilet overflowed and told us to clean it up ourselves with towels that they gave us. Bathtub leaking, pull out bed felt like sleeping on rocks. Smelled like weed in our room. Hotel extremely understaffed. Told to use the downstairs bathroom instead of changing our room. They closed the breakfast at 9:30 when they specifically stated that they would clean the breakfast up at 10:00. They also told us not to use our trash can and gave us a bag to throw everything away in. When we were in the lobby. This deserves the one star and I do not recommend.
Feb 16, 2025 · charlie elskenOne of the worst Marriotts we have stayed in, and we prefer this chain. Place is filthy, room air conditioning is barely functioning and room is hot. Bathroom walls are corroding. The hotel needs a complete renovation.
