Everything was fine. The staff was always available and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. All the staff I dealt with get five stars. My particular room, #102 did have issues. The door to the room sticks, and it is difficult to open the door from the outside. From the inside, I was unable to get the deadbolt to close at all; however, I did use the hooked lock. I questioned myself if the tub had not been clean in a long time. I looked closer to find it appeared to have paint stains and much of the paint coloring making the tub look very, very dirty. The complimentary continental breakfast is the basics but you do get coffee and snacks. The location is well-lit, with plenty of parking. You are right near the major highways with plenty of restaurants up the road. There is a McDonalds directly across the street.
For individuals and families seeking a cost-effective solution for longer stays in the Tewksbury, Massachusetts area, particularly when searching on a "Hotels Near Of Me" platform, the Extended Stay America - Boston - Tewksbury can be a suitable option. Located at 1910 Andover St, Tewksbury, MA 01876, USA, this hotel chain is specifically designed to provide a more home-like environment for guests needing accommodations for several nights, weeks, or even months, emphasizing self-sufficiency and affordability.
The environment surrounding the Extended Stay America - Boston - Tewksbury is primarily functional and offers convenient access to local amenities and major transportation routes. Situated on Andover Street, the hotel is near major highways, which is beneficial for commuters and those needing to travel throughout the greater Boston area. Guests will find various restaurants "up the road," providing dining options, and notably, a McDonald's directly across the street for quick and easy meal solutions. The location is described as "well-lit, with plenty of parking," contributing to a sense of safety and convenience, especially for guests with vehicles. Tewksbury itself is a suburban town in Massachusetts, featuring a mix of residential areas and commercial zones, providing a practical setting for extended visits for business or personal reasons. While not a high-end tourist destination, its accessibility and proximity to essential services make it a practical base.
Extended Stay America properties, including this Tewksbury location, are geared towards providing essential services for guests on longer stays. A key service offered is the complimentary grab-and-go breakfast. While described as "the basics," it includes coffee and snacks, which can be a convenient way to start the day without additional cost. The staff are frequently highlighted in positive reviews for being "always available and friendly," and the check-in process is generally noted as "a breeze," indicating a smooth start to the stay. The hotel typically offers a 24-hour front desk to assist guests with their needs. For self-sufficiency, on-site laundry facilities are usually available. Housekeeping services are provided, typically weekly for free, with options for more frequent service at an additional charge. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also a standard offering, allowing guests to stay connected for work or personal use. However, some negative feedback pertains to staff interactions, with one review mentioning feeling "watched" and "not trusted" based on appearance or perceived circumstances, and a lack of understanding regarding service animals and medical conditions, which points to potential inconsistencies in guest service training and empathy.
The defining feature of Extended Stay America - Boston - Tewksbury is its all-suite concept, providing a more spacious and equipped living arrangement than a standard hotel room. Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, which is invaluable for extended stays. This kitchen typically features a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher, along with basic cookware, dishes, and utensils. While a review mentions a "nice free set of dishes and a comedies for if you leave something at home," another implies that silverware and utensils might need to be specifically requested, or are not always readily available in the room. The presence of a kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals, which can significantly reduce dining expenses over an extended period. Other in-room amenities typically include a comfortable bed, a living area with a desk and chair, and a private bathroom. However, specific room issues highlighted in customer reviews include a door that sticks and is difficult to open from the outside, a deadbolt that doesn't close properly (though a hooked lock is available), paint stains in the bathtub making it look dirty, a non-working hairdryer, and concerning reports of cockroaches in the room. These suggest maintenance and pest control issues that prospective guests should be aware of. Despite these potential drawbacks, the hotel aims to offer a functional and independent living space for guests on longer assignments or temporary housing needs. The hotel is also pet-friendly, allowing guests to bring their pets for an additional fee, which is a significant convenience for many travelers.
Regarding promotional information, Extended Stay America frequently runs various offers to attract guests, particularly for longer stays. These can include discounts for extended stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates), advance purchase discounts, special rates for AAA/Auto Club members, seniors (55+), and military/government personnel. Seasonal promotions are also common. It is highly advisable for prospective guests to contact the hotel directly at (978) 863-9888 or +1 978-863-9888, or visit their official website, to inquire about the most current promotions and specific long-term stay packages that might best suit their needs. While the hotel's budget-friendly nature and the inclusion of a kitchen provide inherent value, guests should go in with managed expectations regarding the overall condition and maintenance of the property, as indicated by some customer reviews. The convenience of the location, the availability of a kitchen, and the basic complimentary breakfast are the primary appeals for those seeking an economical extended stay, but potential issues with room maintenance and staff interactions, as reported, should be considered before booking.

Apr 01, 2025 · Donald Lupien (Don)Although they do provide a nice free set of dishes and a comedies for if you leave something at home and a free breakfast I did not like how my service animal was treated. I have a cat for seizures and I had a seizure in the morning when there was a fire alarm and they looked at my partner like they were crazy for helping me, and they looked at me like I was on something when I have a medical condition with seizures. And on top of that, we found three cockroaches in our room. The hairdryer did not work and over all the way that the staff treated me and my partner from the second we stepped in the door till the second we left me being 21 my partner being 18 it was like we were being watched like we were not trusted. I am a very respectful person and I just did not like the way that we were treated just because we’re homeless does not mean to treat us any less less than the next person renting a room from you guys.
