Check in experience was excellent. When I arrived there was a gentleman mopping the floor. Nobody was at the desk but that quickly changed when the floor mopper turned out to be the desk person. His name was Arthur and he was very friendly and welcoming. My room was spectacular…very clean and even had a welcome using my name on my TV. Little touches add up to a great experience.

Mar 24, 2025 · Pickleballer Rhode IslandLet me tell you, as someone who works in customer service, this location was truly beyond my expectations. Booking.com sent inadequate payment to the front desk for my prepaid reservation. The gentleman working that evening was more of an advocate for a fair exchange than we could have been. His passion and dedication to the guest experience was dazzling. We felt like part of the family, and for that, I am gladly a loyal customer. Thank you so much!
Feb 17, 2025 · K AlmeidaStayed here for a night on our way to Vermont . We checked in pretty late , night shift lady was very warm and welcoming . The guy in the morning front desk was pleasant and a little over sensitive on trivial asks like a replacement key . We had a corner room on 4th floor and it had a decent view . it was a pleasant stay.
Apr 03, 2025 · Rohit RanjanMy husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights January 8 and 9. I came in late at night to check in while my husband running to get our food at Applebees because they are about to close. So when I came in there was a guy sitting at the lobby busy on his phone. He saw me coming in. Then I was standing and waiting who's going to check me in. The front desk door is closed and there's only guy at the lobby still on his phone. Then this guy stood up and came to the front desk I was surprised that he is the front desk I thought he was a guest just sitting at the lobby and busy on his phone. I told him I'm checking in. He told me last time I knew there's no reservation. I didn't say anything. But I'm pissed off because he let me wait at the front desk while he's on his phone sitting at the lobby. I hope front desks are be more professional at their job because most of the time guest that checking in late are tired. In my case , My husband and I had a long drive especially dealing with snow storm. All we wanted is to get check in, have our key cards, and get some rest. On the day of our check out my husband asked the front desk morning if we could get a 4PM check out. Front desk told him that she can't give us a 4PM. My husband asked how about 2PM. Front desk said that she can't give us 2PM. My husband asked her even we are Titanium elite? Front desk answered yes because we are slow and I can't let my housekeeping stay that late. The latest I can give is 1PM. My husband and I travel a lot for work so we stay in Marriott a lot of time inside and outside of the U.S. Frontdesks in this hotel needed to be trained. They are unprofessional. They don't have a customer service. It is funny that guests that staying a lot in Marriott are more knowledgeable than their front desks.
Feb 12, 2025 · Mycadin BaldoveWhen we arrived to check in at 3:00pm the room was 51 degrees in December. Luckily, we knew other people staying in the hotel and we could hang out in their room while our room was warming up. We were staying at this hotel because we were in Batavia for a hockey tournament. Our whole team was not at this hotel, but there were other teams staying as well. Our group went to the pool around 8:30pm so the kids could swim. Around 9, my husband went to ask for towels because there were none in the pool area. The front desk employee, Arthur, was rude to my husband and told him that it was because people weren't putting the towels away in the bin. Arthur entered the pool area around 9:55 and started yelling at us that we had 5 minutes. At 10, Arthur came back and again started yelling at us that we weren't listening to him as we were cleaning up, putting the towels in the bin, and the kids were getting out of the pool. He stormed out. At about 10:05, Arthur returned and was yelling that we were somehow being too loud upstairs on the 3rd floor and in the pool. We tried talking to him and he started telling us to 'shut up' and accused one of the members of our group of harassing him. Arthur's tone and behavior were completely inappropriate. Prior to this happening, the kids were having a great time swimming, and the pool is wonderful because it's not very deep. Arthur took a great experience from 5–8-year-old children and made it a very traumatic event as tears were shed by all the kids. Even my 5 year-old asked why this man was yelling at them. I would not stay here if I had kids.
