Are things over priced on the shelves? Of course. It is a general store at a campground and an amusement park. But, the staff is super friendly and helpful and we had a very good experience the several nights we stayed at the campground. Very convenient if you are camping and don't want to leave because you have forgotten something. Also the deli is a pretty decent value and the one surprise price wise in the store.

Its location between Buffalo and Rochester makes it easily accessible for visitors from both major metropolitan areas and beyond. Customer reviews present a mixed but generally helpful picture. One reviewer appreciated the convenience and friendly staff at the campground's general store, noting, "The staff is super friendly and helpful and we had a very good experience the several nights we stayed at the campground. Very convenient if you are camping and don't want to leave because you have forgotten something." This highlights the practical benefits of the on-site amenities for resort guests.
However, another review expressed disappointment with the theme park's current state compared to previous years, citing "half the rides aren't opened up" and "shows are just near to nonexistent these days." This suggests that prospective visitors, particularly those prioritizing rides and live entertainment, should verify current operational status and schedules before their visit via the official Six Flags App. There was also an isolated negative comment about a room being "incredibly hot" and causing itchiness, which could be an individual incident. Overall, while some aspects of the park's operation have seen changes, the convenience of the combined lodging and entertainment options remains a strong draw for the "Hotels Near Of Me" category.

Oct 10, 2021 · Joshua LaFrance (mrtechie)Six flags Darian Lake has gone WAY downhill from when I was a kid... half the rides aren't opened up, they used to have tons of games (there's still a bunch of games left) and shows. The shows are just near to nonexistent these days... You're better off paying for one of the smaller parks like waldameer cause that's what you're getting at six flags these days. And the smaller parks are half the cost. Won't waste our money on season passes here again...
