The concierge at the front desk was extremely nice. Great location near downtown Gainesville. However, the lady in front of me at check in complained about blood being on the sheet of her bed when she checked in. I have also been dealing with not receiving my $21 concession charge that “had to be charged” to my debit card regardless of if I planned on getting any concessions or not. I have called the hotel 2 times trying to find out why I have not received the refund yet. Both times I was told “I don’t know it should be refunded within 3-5 business days.” Well, here we are on week number two and no refund. This is a motel experience at a 3 star hotel price.

Apr 23, 2025 · Isaac SandovalAMAZING! I checked in after I got off work last night and the 2 gentlemen at the desk were very welcoming, hospitable and polite. I had a request and was met with understanding and they took care of me and made sure I felt like a valued guest. These men are the standard and the professionalism as well as just kindness is something that I don’t experience with lots of other hotel brands. This experience with Fairfield Inn in Gainesville was a breath of fresh air, especially working in the film industry and needing a safe and quiet place to rest after working intense hours. Also being a combat veteran and not being comfortable asking for help on something and being heard and respected. I don’t think I can express my gratitude enough and will return again! 10/10 Thank you Mr. Ntore and Justin for all the help, good energy and dedication!
Mar 25, 2025 · Demarr BrownHotel was very clean during our overnight stay. Beds are comfortable but pillows are terrible. You can’t even tell you’re using one as they just smush to nothing. HOWEVER, my only purpose for making this review is to shout out to the gentleman who managed the continental breakfast this morning. Fresh, filled and sparkling clean even 30 minutes before closing. Nice treat when often continental breakfasts in the last hour are picked over and messy. I couldn’t get his name because I couldn’t see his name tag but we did compliment him. Thank you sir!
May 05, 2025 · Tracy KernanWhile at hotel I have been informed that the bus we are traveling in cannot park near the front of the hotel because those are premium and for cars. Even though we have booked over 25 rooms this week and are occupying most of the hotel. I suppose if you are traveling in a bus and booking entire floors you are considered 2nd class here. Note, this was not even overnight parking, that was brief and only for 2 hours in the middle of the day for the group to eat lunch and then we would have been gone. I counted only 2 cars in the entire parking lot. So I suppose 25 rooms do not warrant 5 parking spaces. Would not advise staying here with a group.
Mar 23, 2025 · Mark JordanI was there for a Funeral. During my stay I was in need of Feminine Hygiene Products. I had stopped by the Front Desk asking if they had any. The Front Desk Associate at the time (was an African American gentleman) said he couldn't find any at the time and said he would call my Room when he did. When he called I did come down and he handed them to me. He then proceeded to ask me what the Pads are for. I found that it was a bit strange that he asked but I answered his question. He then proceeded to ask where or who gave me the ring that was on my middle finger in which I explained it was a gift from my parents. Then he tried hitting on me! Asking if he could get me a bigger ring! I found this shocking as he was asking this while on shift! This is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. They need to go over work professionalism with that particular Front Desk Associate.
