I stayed at G2A. The fridge is broken. The TV remote is not working so I could not watch the TV. The location is great but the amenity in the room is awful. The room is also very small.
For those searching under the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in Killington, Vermont, particularly individuals or families seeking a self-catered accommodation with excellent access to the ski slopes, Fall Line Condominiums presents a compelling option. Located at 786 E Mountain Rd, Killington, VT 05751, USA, and reachable at (802) 422-8003 or +1 802-422-8003, Fall Line offers individually owned condominium units that combine a prime location with a range of community amenities designed to enhance a mountain getaway.
Fall Line Condominiums are nestled in the Killington Ski Village area on East Mountain Road, a location that is consistently praised for its convenience. The complex is just a "short distance to the slopes," specifically about 1/3 mile to the Snowshed Base Lodge at Killington Resort. This proximity is a major draw for skiers and snowboarders, with the added benefit of a "ski home trail" available during mid-winter, conditions permitting. This allows for direct ski-in access, which is highly sought after. Beyond the immediate access to the ski trails, many of the condos offer "amazing mountain views," providing a picturesque backdrop for your stay.
The surrounding environment is characterized by the natural beauty of the Green Mountains, offering opportunities for outdoor activities in all seasons. While primarily known for its winter sports access, the location also provides easy reach to hiking and biking trails, the Killington Golf Course (about 0.5 miles away), and other summer attractions like the Killington Adventure Center. The complex itself offers a village-like setting, providing a sense of community while guests enjoy the privacy of their individual units.
As a condominium complex, Fall Line offers a combination of private unit amenities and shared community facilities. The units are individually owned, meaning their interior decor and specific amenities can vary. However, general services and amenities typically found across the complex include:
It is important for potential guests to review specific unit details, as the level of amenity and condition can differ between individually owned condos. Some reviews highlight that while the location is excellent, some older units might have issues with amenities like a broken fridge or non-working TV remotes, suggesting that newer or recently renovated units (like "G1" or "D4" mentioned in some listings) offer a more modern and updated experience.
The primary feature of Fall Line Condominiums is its exceptional "ski-in/ski-out" or "short distance to slopes" access, making it a highly desirable location for winter sports enthusiasts. The availability of a dedicated "ski home trail" (conditions permitting) enhances this convenience. The complex comprises 44 units, ranging from studios to one, two, and three-bedroom options, many of which are duplex units, offering flexibility for various group sizes, from couples to larger families. The presence of wood-burning fireplaces in most units adds a cozy, authentic mountain ambiance, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.
The communal amenities at the Community Center – the heated indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna – are significant added value, offering a resort-like feel. The ability to cook meals in-unit provides a cost-effective and comfortable alternative to dining out for every meal. The "well-maintained" common areas and the consistent focus on guest comfort, as highlighted by guests who "loved everything" about their stay and praised the "cozy and well-maintained" nature of the house, are key features.
Each unit offers a degree of privacy, allowing guests to spread out and enjoy their space. Many units are renovated, showcasing modern updates to kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring a pleasant and contemporary stay within a classic Vermont setting.
Fall Line Condominiums are promoted as an ideal base for exploring Killington's year-round activities, with a strong emphasis on its prime location for skiing and snowboarding. The promotional materials often highlight the "perfect location" and the ease of access to the mountain, bars, shops, and restaurants on Killington Road. The promise of "mountain views" and the availability of amenities like the indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna are key selling points for attracting guests looking for both adventure and relaxation.
The condominium format is appealing to those who prefer more space and self-catering options compared to a traditional hotel room, particularly families and groups. The option to "ski home" via a trail, coupled with the convenient shuttle service, underscores its appeal to the avid skier. Positive guest reviews, such as those mentioning a "wonderful stay" and a "perfect location" for a "great family getaway," reinforce the property's suitability for family travel. While individual unit experiences may vary, the overall messaging positions Fall Line as a highly convenient, amenity-rich, and comfortable choice for a memorable Killington vacation, encouraging repeat visits for its excellent value and location.

Jan 19, 2025 · Jiaheng ZhangThis is the second time we stay here. Jonathan’s help was perfect for finding the right apartment. We loved everything and the location is great for a ski trip. We will be back!
Dec 26, 2024 · Victoria M300$ a night for a closet. Paper thin walls, cement firm mattress, super tiny shower and bed, extremely squeaky bed and a shared hallway that people refuse to turn off the light. I’ve stayed at 50$ motels that provided more comfort.
Sep 14, 2024 · C SmithAmazing location! You can catch the bus at the entrance to the condos! They run every 15 minutes on the weekend and you can ski right back to the condo which is outstanding! Fireplace in the condo made for cozy evenings. They have a large hot tub - so amazing after a long active day! There were a few pieces of gym equipment, not all worked. Beautiful views! Worth checking out!
Mar 12, 2023 · PKMD AdventureWe booked a 1BR Condo for the weekend, and the condo itself is super nice. The problem was all of its contents were severely outdated. The cooking utensils literally fell apart when we tried to use them, the TV in the living room didn't work, the toaster didn't work, the jacuzzi tub had a bath mat glued to the tub that was brown, the back door to the patio randomly blows open unless it's locked. Our first morning, the fire alarm went off in the bedroom that we couldn't figure out the reason why. Maintenance came and determined that the fire alarm was defective, but that process ultimately took up most of the first day of skiing that we had paid for. It's a shame because the structure of the unit looks nice, but clearly the owner of the unit that we stayed in did not have any interest in keeping the condo in livable condition.
