Glamping at Meadeville Farm, situated at 864 Gravel Rd, Seneca Falls, NY 13148, USA, offers a distinctive "glamping" experience that seamlessly blends the tranquility of nature with the comforts of modern accommodation. Falling under the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, it provides a unique alternative to traditional hotels for those seeking a memorable stay in the Finger Lakes region. Based on consistent glowing reviews, this establishment has garnered high praise for its serene environment, thoughtful services, and unique features.
The environment at Glamping at Meadeville Farm is consistently highlighted as peaceful, restful, and deeply connected to nature. The glamping tents are strategically placed on platforms at the edge of a creek, nestled within a farm, ensuring privacy and a genuine sense of being immersed in the outdoors without visible roads. This setting allows guests to truly "unplug from the modern world." The property is described as having "80 acres to explore," offering a feeling of "Waldeinsamkeit" (a German word for the feeling of solitude in the woods). Guests can enjoy a natural "Lazy River" experience by floating down Black Brook Creek, with floaties provided. While the proximity to the NYS Thruway (about half a mile) means that truck noise can occasionally be heard if the wind is from the south, this seems to be a minor point compared to the overall tranquility. The farm actively manages its natural surroundings, and guests should be aware that, as an active farm, there are natural elements like steep grades, uneven ground, and wildlife. This emphasis on an authentic outdoor experience, while ensuring comfort, is a core part of its environmental appeal.
The services at Glamping at Meadeville Farm are characterized by a high level of personalized hospitality. Ann, the host, is frequently praised as "so friendly and accommodating" and a "perfect host." This personal touch significantly contributes to the welcoming atmosphere. Unlike a typical vacation rental, it operates as a Bed and Breakfast, implying a higher level of service. A complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast is served daily between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with fresh eggs and pancake makings, including local maple syrup, often provided. The shared kitchen in the "Gathering Area" is well-stocked and accessible 24 hours a day, offering snacks and ingredients for light meals, such as pizzas, hot dogs, and salads, along with all necessary cooking basics like spices, utensils, and pans. This self-service but well-equipped kitchen setup adds convenience for guests. The property also offers contactless check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth process. Guests are greeted upon arrival, and support is available for any needs.
Glamping at Meadeville Farm boasts a range of features that redefine the camping experience. The accommodations consist of "roomy 'tents'" that are far from traditional camping setups. These are handmade glamping tents on platforms, designed for comfort and privacy. Inside, guests will find comfortable queen-size four-poster beds with cloud-like curtained canopies and opulent linens, ensuring a luxurious sleeping experience. Cozy carpets underfoot and lounge areas add to the comfort. For temperature control, vent-free heaters are provided for cool nights, and rechargeable fans are available for warmer evenings. A crucial feature, and a highlight for many guests, is the "clean spa bathroom," which is steps away from the tents. These spa-inspired bathhouses offer a luxurious showering experience with rainfall showerheads, adjustable body jets, and often include amenities like lighted, anti-fog mirrors and even toiletries (including bug spray). While the tents themselves do not have power or running water to maintain the "unplugged" experience, the shared Gathering Area and bathhouse provide ample power for recharging devices, hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each tent also has a private firepit and picnic table on the bank of Black Brook Creek, with the option for staff to light fires at dusk. A yard game area is also available. The property prioritizes cleanliness, with professional cleaners striving to exceed Forbes 5-star cleaning requirements, including extensive sanitization protocols for all bedding and surfaces. Guests must be at least 25 years old, indicating an adults-only or adult-focused environment, which contributes to the peaceful ambiance.

Sep 16, 2024 · Jen CaldwellWe recently had a wonderful stay at Meadeville Farm. The glamping tent was exceptionally clean and comfortable with luxurious bedding and pillows and included all the creature comforts of home. The nights were a bit cooler during our stay but we had a heater in our tent awaiting us which kept us more than toasty and warm. The bathhouse was clean and modern. It did not feel like I was showering in the middle of the woods. The paths were well lit in the evenings while we walked down to the kitchen where we found anything we could ever want....wine, cheese, beer, chocolates, nuts and even pizza for a late night snack. We were pleasantly surprised to find coffee, freshly baked bread and muffins and even homemade breakfast sandwiches in the morning. The owner and host Ann lives right on the property so we felt very safe. And if you need anything which you may have forgotten, she was very responsive to deliver right away. She is a fantastic host! The location was also very conveniently located to the Thruway, wineries and Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge. I highly recommend this B&B and I can't wait to return very soon.

Jun 17, 2024 · karen williamsAnn was the most amazing host. She had thought of everything you could ever need it . You could basically pull up with a car and some clothes and be set for a great glamping experience. Tents are beautiful with comfy beds and pillows. The property is great and has a lazy river, even though it rained our night here it was definitely worth the cost. Too many extras to name! Highly recommend if looking for something in the Finger Lakes area.

Aug 04, 2024 · rochelle rupertWhat a gem! This beautiful farm is such a perfect getaway. The glamping tents are clean and well built, the restroom has an awesome shower and functioning toilet. Ann is super responsive and even made us farm fresh bacon egg and cheese sandwiches the morning of our departure 🥹💗. Ann thinks of EVERYTHING: amenities, snacks, board games, but most importantly she’s made the perfect place to unplug. Her beautiful farm is filled with chickens, roosters, sheep and the beautiful sounds of the creek that run along the back of the glamping tents. Highly recommend!
