So today is the last day of my first stay. I checked in Sunday night and was greeted warmly by Nia. The next morning Bob was at the front desk greeting you with a good morning as well. In the afternoons returning from work, the same Level 10 experience. Yesterday, not only does Lee have an amazing smile, he was in a suit! Just went down for breakfast my last morning, and Bob, once again greets me warmly and get this, asks my how did I sleep? Now after years staying at Hampton Inn Emerson where last month was my last straw...three nights with limited sleep due to kids above (with ball teams) that will not stop jumping wrestling and whatever else at 2am. The front desks response, get this, "I would suggest you find another property". Well, to that lady that honestly did not look like she wanted to be at that hotel either, I say thank you. Thanks to you I did just that, and moved to Hampton Inn Acworth. One last comment, the lady that is responsible for breakfast, and sorry I do not know your name, but you are amazing! Each morning there was variation in breakfast, and the bacon Monday morning was perfect! Thank you for your kindness and for the hotel management, thank you for service with every team member. I am already looking forward to my return! Blessings, Rusty Lee

The Hampton Inn Acworth boasts a convenient location off GA-92, providing easy access to major highways and local attractions. It is situated in the scenic foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. The hotel's proximity makes it an excellent base for visiting popular destinations such as Lakepoint Sports, Lake Allatoona, and Acworth Beach, offering opportunities for sports events, water activities, and outdoor recreation. Additionally, guests are within a short drive of the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History and Cobblestone Golf Course. For shopping and dining, the hotel is just 10 minutes from Town Center Mall and surrounded by numerous restaurants within a mile radius. The area is generally perceived as quiet and safe, contributing to a restful stay. The hotel is a modern property, having been built around 2018 (some sources indicate it's almost 3 years old as of early 2024, implying a 2021 opening, while others say 2017), featuring 81 or 82 rooms (information varies) across 4 stories, with interior corridors.
The Hampton Inn Acworth provides a comprehensive array of amenities designed to enhance guest comfort and convenience, consistent with the Hampton Inn brand promise. A significant highlight is the complimentary hot breakfast, which receives consistent praise from guests for its variety and quality. Guests specifically mention "variation in breakfast" each morning and "perfect" bacon, with staff dedicated to ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience. Breakfast is served daily, typically from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
Each guest room is designed for comfort and functionality. They include clean and fresh Hampton beds, free high-speed WiFi, HDTVs with cable programming, and a safe. Rooms also typically feature a microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, iron/ironing board, and hairdryer. The hotel also offers free tea and coffee 24-hours a day in the lobby.
For recreation and relaxation, the hotel features an indoor swimming pool, which is often described as "clean and warm." There is also a 24-hour fitness center equipped with modern exercise machines. Business travelers will appreciate the business center and meeting rooms, with 336 square feet (31 square meters) of conference space available.
Other services include a 24-hour front desk, dry cleaning/laundry services, and complimentary self-parking (including ample space for larger vehicles like RVs and trucks). A standout feature of the Hampton Inn Acworth, consistently emphasized by customer reviews, is its exceptional staff and the high level of customer service provided. Guests frequently praise individuals like Nia, Bob, and Lee for their "warm" greetings, "amazing smile," and "Level 10 experience." The personalized approach, such as Bob asking "how did I sleep?" demonstrates a genuine care for guests. This positive staff interaction stands in stark contrast to experiences at other properties, as highlighted by one guest who chose this Hampton Inn after a disappointing stay elsewhere. The breakfast staff is also lauded for their "kindness" and for ensuring "variation in breakfast." This consistently positive human element significantly contributes to a feeling of being "comfortable" and "safe."
The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms also receive high marks, with guests noting "clean room and comfy beds," and "room was updated and clean." The indoor pool is described as "very nice, large" and "clean and warm." The hotel's commitment to being non-smoking throughout is also seen as a "big plus."
However, one notable area of concern, as highlighted in a specific review, pertains to late checkout policies and billing. A guest reported being charged for a "full day" after being offered "late checkout" by housekeeping and departing only 30 minutes late, without prior warning of a full day's charge. This incident led to a perception of "not at all customer friendly" management and "runaround" in disputing the charge. This suggests a potential inconsistency in communication or policy application regarding late checkouts, which could lead to unexpected charges for guests. While the general sentiment for most aspects of the stay is overwhelmingly positive, this particular experience points to a need for clear communication regarding additional fees.
As part of the Hilton family of brands, the Hampton Inn Acworth participates in the Hilton Honors loyalty program. This allows guests to earn and redeem points for stays, and members often receive exclusive discounts and benefits, including free WiFi (which is already complimentary for all guests). The hotel is frequently regarded as offering good value for money, with guests noting that "You cannot beat the price of this hotel in this area" for the quality of service and amenities provided.
While specific limited-time promotional offers were not explicitly detailed, Hilton properties often run seasonal sales, advanced purchase discounts, or special rates for AAA/AARP members and military personnel. Guests are advised to check the official Hilton website or contact the hotel directly for the most current pricing and any applicable special offers. Prices can vary significantly based on booking dates and availability, but the hotel aims to offer a competitive rate for its segment. Check-in time is generally 3:00 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM. The minimum age for check-in is 21 years old.
In conclusion, the Hampton Inn Acworth stands out within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category as a highly recommended option for travelers seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay. Its consistent praise for exceptional staff, clean and well-appointed rooms, and complimentary hot breakfast are significant strengths. While potential guests should be aware of possible issues with late checkout charges and ensure clear communication regarding policies, the overall guest experience, characterized by outstanding service, makes it a reliable and pleasant choice for accommodation in Acworth, Georgia.

May 08, 2025 · Rusty LeeHad a fine stay but we left a few minutes late (experienced a minor health related delay). Housekeeping did come by at checkout time and I said we needed a couple of minutes. She then asked if we needed “late checkout” and I answered “yes, that would be great, thank you”. We left about 30 minutes later. Subsequently they charged our card for a full day (changing the reservation, adding a day that we did not request). Attempting to dispute the charge we have only received “our systems do not allow it”, from the hotel, selaya in addressing the concern from Hilton… basically, what seems to be a runaround. The lack of warning (not shown in policy offerings)… no discussion other than the offer of a late checkout… but a full day charge added to the bill (housekeeper was still a couple rooms down from ours when we left so should have been no impact to hotel management). We would have paid a late fee / charge, but a whole day is unacceptable (including inappropriate use taxes). This does lead us to believe that the management of this hotel is apparently not at all customer friendly so we wonder about less obvious concerns (unseen shortcuts).
Apr 18, 2025 · Joe BThe hotel was very nice, and the room was exceptionally clean. The only downside was the shower; the showerhead was falling apart, and the water pressure was quite low. Breakfast was good. My son particularly enjoyed the potatoes mixed with peppers and onions and wanted to send his compliments to the chef. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we will definitely choose to stay here again.
Dec 09, 2024 · Diana TabaresVery disappointing experience. Our family of 5 was traveling from Michigan to Florida for Spring Break. I reserved a room in advance but the reservation was canceled the morning of our arrival at 6:44 am. After receiving the notification, I rebooked a room at a higher price and expected to discuss “the glitch” upon arrival. The front desk advised that the manager had canceled several reservations that morning and he was the only one who could handle it. The manager disregarded several messages from me. I attempted to file a complaint with Hilton Guest Assistance but the are off-shore and the details got lost in translation. The manager did not respond to inquiries by Hilton’s own customer service. We ended up paying $80 more than the original reservation! I promise we’ll never be back to that specific hotel and I’m now leary about doing business with Hilton if this is a new practice. The room itself was basic but spacious & clean. The curtain string was broke and the room was bright all night long, there was a mechanical sound in the room, and there was loud street noise (even on the 5th floor) until traffic calmed down. Between getting bad sleep and getting ripped off, it was not worth the trouble or the money. Highly do NOT recommend this location!
Apr 17, 2025 · Alicia WalbridgeVery clean, people are the desk were friendly and efficient. The stand out though was the sweet lady running the breakfast buffet! She was awesome, asking if anyone needed help making a waffle or anything!
