We have stayed here on and off for several years. Had minor problems in the past but nothing this major. I reserved the rooms online. When we arrived at the hotel to check in the desk clerk failed to inform us that work was being done on the roof. We were woken at 6 am with all the banging. Not only were they working on the roof it was right over our rooms. When I walked out of the room the construction workers starting laughing at me. While they were drinking beers. My husband went and talked to the desk clerk later and she claimed we couldn't check out and nothing could be done but changing rooms. They were working on the roof, what good would changing rooms do. Then they started moving building supplies over our cars with a forklift. Next morning they put a really loud generator outside of our rooms early morning and left it going. We couldn't even hear each other little on get rest before our hours of driving ahead. I am very disappointed and will not be back. We should have been warned. Breakfast was almost nonexistent. Cereal, yogurt and the waffle batter machine empty. The carpet in the rooms was so bad that my grandsons feet were brown from walking across it barefoot. Other that that the rooms were clean enough.

As a Quality Inn property, this hotel typically offers a range of standard amenities designed for a comfortable stay. Customer reviews for the Quality Inn in Acworth paint a varied and often concerning picture of the guest experience. While some positive mentions exist, such as certain staff members being "great and very reasonable" or rooms being "clean enough" in some instances, a significant portion of feedback highlights notable issues.
A primary area of concern is the property's condition and maintenance. Reviews describe rooms as having "dingy" carpets, with one guest reporting their grandson's feet turning brown from walking barefoot. Specific complaints include "public hair in tub, walls of bathroom, mirror, toilet," and "make up all over bathroom walls," indicating inconsistent cleaning standards. Issues like a "creaky and rickety" bedframe, loud and ineffective AC units, and TVs stuck on foreign audio without a way to change it are also frequently mentioned.
Another major point of dissatisfaction revolves around unexpected disruptions and staff interactions, particularly concerning the owner. One detailed review recounts a disruptive stay due to "work being done on the roof" starting at 6 AM, loud generators, and construction workers drinking beers and laughing at guests. The lack of warning about such major construction and the inability to resolve the issue by changing rooms (as the work was on the roof over the rooms) caused significant frustration. Furthermore, interactions with the owner have been described as "rude," "mean," and having a "bad attitude," with instances of baseless accusations (e.g., stealing towels) and inflexibility regarding check-out times, despite guest loyalty status. This has led to a feeling of being "very disappointed" and a strong intention not to return for many guests.
Overall, while the hotel offers basic amenities, the consistency of its cleanliness, the condition of its facilities, and especially certain aspects of its customer service, as detailed in recent reviews, appear to be significant drawbacks for many travelers. The experiences described suggest that guests may face unexpected inconveniences and less-than-ideal interactions during their stay.
As a Choice Hotels brand, Quality Inn Acworth typically offers competitive rates, aiming to provide an affordable lodging option. Prices for a 1-night stay for 2 adults can start from approximately $70.0, excluding taxes and fees, though prices are subject to change based on booking dates and availability. Guests can participate in the Choice Privileges loyalty program to earn points for stays.
Given the detailed feedback from guests, the value proposition of this Quality Inn is a key consideration. While it offers a lower price point and amenities like free breakfast and pet-friendly policies, potential guests should carefully weigh these against the reported issues regarding cleanliness, property condition, and customer service. For travelers prioritizing budget over a consistently pristine or disruption-free experience, it might be an option. However, many reviews suggest that even for a slightly higher price, a more comfortable and reliable stay might be found elsewhere. Check-in starts at 1:00 PM and ends anytime, with a minimum check-in age of 21 (though other sources say 18). Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
In conclusion, the Quality Inn in Acworth positions itself within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category as an economical choice. While it provides fundamental hotel services and a convenient location, prospective guests are strongly advised to consider the prevalent negative feedback concerning the hotel's cleanliness, the state of its facilities, and challenges related to service and unexpected operational disruptions before making a reservation.

May 23, 2025 · Candy C.I stayed here for a month and had no complaints. The people at the front desk are great and very reasonable. I give the place one star because of how mean the guy that’s owns the place is. The whole time I’ve been here he has been gone. My first time meeting the guy was yesterday he was rude to me. I let it go because I knew he has just came back from vacation and it can be an adjustment. There was trouble with our microwave for several days now so we would call to make sure we could use the one in the lobby before coming down and just using it. He said that we complained over 9 times about it and I tried to explain it was probably just a language barrier because we was just asking if we could use theirs before we came down there like I stated above. He was very angry with me about that. After days of the microwave being messed up ( they said they couldn’t change our room the entire time ) he was going to make me change rooms to put a new microwave in. You literally just unplug it.. I honestly think he was just trying to make it an inconvenience to me because that didn’t make the slightest bit of sense. I’m a Diamond member so I have always stayed through choice and at most places including here ( while he was gone ) allow me to pay or check out at 12 regardless if you’re a diamond member or not.. I sleep in very late because I work 2nd and 3rd shifts. Instead of just saying something like “ hey I know my staff had been allowing you to do that and we have a sign that says we have late check out … I’m no longer do that and then explain why” . He has a bad attitude and said I’m not going to allow that. When we was picking up to leave because we obviously aren’t going to continue to stay here now he tried to say that his censor detected that we had taken his towels. I was like I know you are freaking lying right now. I stayed and watched them count all the towels then they didn’t even say sorry for accusing me of stealing a damn towel. Such a dang joke man. With that being said he definitely needs better customer service skills and I can only imagine what staff goes through but like I said the staff was wonderful just the guy that owns this place is a headache . It’s definitely not a place you want to stay for more than a night & PLEASE don’t touch there nasty towels because his censor will detect it and he will flip out.
Feb 23, 2025 · Ashley PayneMold in the room , in the bath tub and in the ceiling debree on the table under the moldy ceiling , I asked for some sort of discount and days later received Nothing! How nice seeing I had to wash the tub myself before I could shower and yes I took pictures I had to book at the window because it was 2 am so it was too late to go back down stairs to ask for a different room , during booking I asked for the AAA Discount and was told there systems were down, How convenient My advice check the room out before bringing all your belongings upstairs
Apr 19, 2025 · Jean MontleDo not stay here unless it’s your absolute last resort. I can understand when the owner is unaware of his units but when they know it’s black mold in the rooms and they still rent them out. When I realized the mold only because I had use the restroom it had been an hour and I could not get my money back. Only switch rooms. I am disappointed and saddened by the quality that certain businesses find acceptable when they themselves would not stay in the rooms. Do better. Please do not spend your money for this filthy place. I have to sleep on top of covers fully dressed. I’m being forced to stay in this filth because he will not refund my money so I can find a MUCH CLEANER PLACE TO SLEEP BECAUSE I HAVE A 6 hour drive ahead of me.
Feb 16, 2025 · Toni JohnsonThe only good thing about this review is the lady at the front desk was nice that’s it. After a long day of being on the road all we wanted was a hot shower and a warm bed. There was no shampoo in the big bottle in the shower, the heater makes a rattling noise, tv didn’t work properly and the door is bent so it let cold air in. Paint is coming off the ceiling in the bathroom, you can tell where the old locks where on the door, just an over all dingy room. I would expect more for $100. No one takes any pride in their work anymore and it’s ridiculous. I would be ashamed if I worked there and let people stay in a room like that.
