Hampton Inn Atlanta Kennesaw

Where to start. I passed through the Kennesaw, GA Busbee location on the way to FL. That stay was great. 2 rooms great. Before we left we booked a 2 room return trip with a woman at the front desk. She was supposed to put on my Brother-in-Law's honors account. She got that wrong. It ended up on mine. Then the con emails were sent to me and they were the wrong rooms. So when I got to FL, I called and talked to a man at the front desk who said he fixed the rooms. I asked if new confirmations are going to be emailed to me. He said yes. Wrong. I then got a notification a day before leaving and one room was correct and one wrong. I noticed that by the way. One party was one 4th floor and the other on the 7th floor in the wrong type room. To top it off. NO hot water in the 7th floor room. Final decision. I will never stay at the Busbee location every again. The front desk employees need to be completely restrained. Very disappointed in this hotel. Would not recommend at all.

We were in town for baseball tournaments this weekend. After being at the baseball field all day on Saturday, we finally made it to the hotel to check in around 8pm. Upon entry to the hotel there was a heavy odor of cigarette smoke and some sort of spray to disguise the smell. I asked the front desk receptionist if they allow smoking inside and she stated that it was a smoke free facility. During check in she was very nice and informed me to let her know if there are any issues. We reserved two rooms, one for my husband and I and one for our daughter and grandkids. Our daughter’s room was on the second floor 223 and our room on the third, 326. I took our daughter to her room first and then proceeded to our room on the third floor via the stairwell. There were a couple dead bugs in the stairwell that someone had clearly stepped on and when i got to our room there were bugs in the bathroom also. I went back to the front desk to inform her of this and she indicated that moving to another room was not an option as they were full booked. There was another guest leaving due to bugs in their room also. I informed her that we would not be able to stay in the room due to the bugs and requested a refund. She told me that she did not have the ability to process refunds, but provided me with a print out and the number to Hilton honors to obtain the refund. Due to the number of people in town for the baseballl tournaments we spent a good amount of the night trying to find another hotel to stay in for the night. During that time i called the Hilton honors number provided, and after explaining what occurred three times, the gentleman i spoke with kept redirecting me to the hotel even though i informed him that the hotel directed me to him. Ultimately he told me he couldn’t do anything about it that i would need to contact the hotel again and follow up with them for resolution . At this point we are still actively working on getting a refund for both rooms. We’ve been Hilton reward members since 2016, and have been extremely disappointed over this situation and the lack of urgency in attempting to do customer service recovery and ensuring we were refunded.

Had a stay there for a conference, it was great! the staff was very helpful and Hospitable! breakfast was great! location is quiet which was a plus! The only negative I would say is that you can smell the carpet and it needed a good clean, not a fan of the farm house style bathroom doors. Other than that everything was great! Beds were clean and comfortable.

I stopped here around 11PM to see if they had a room for the night. Friendly staff checked me in quickly. The room was comfortable and clean- everything I expected. The downside was the road noise from traffic was louder than I expected. Included breakfast is adequate but unremarkable,

Good hotel. Good breakfast. Good location, The problem I had was that I threw aluminum foil in the trash can in the bathroom, there are pills that are wrapped in very hard paper, and when I returned to the room I saw the paper in the toilet, the person (Clean Staff)who filled the room throw the paper in the toilet when that paper is not to be thrown in the toilet, you know the toilet got clogged and it was a bad time that I went through, which I don't see the need for that to happen, they have to train their work staff, that type of paper is not thrown in the toilet,
