At first there were no towels in my advance selected room and no shower gel. The desk agent promptly delivered these to my room. But at 3am in the morning, the smoke detector started chirping. I was given another room to finish sleeping. Maintenance would fix it that day. Or so I told. At 3am, it started chirping again. I moved the furniture and took it off the wall and down to the front desk. The battery was dead. Maintenance didn’t fix it the 2nd day either. I asked for the GM to call me. He didn’t. Such wonderful customer service and so much for the Hampton 100% guarantee. I fully understand things happen. But the staff should only need to be told once, not twice. As a Diamond member, I do expect more from the hotel. I called Hilton instead and gave them the low down.

Jul 19, 2025 · Joe WoidichRoom was fine. Front desk clerk was rude, a racist & an ableist. Hotel had a power outage and keondra was hiding in her office while people had questions. When I asked for an update she said the whole block is without power went ok so you have an update. I was with my wife and 7 month old child. I couldn’t have my 7 month old sleep in the extreme heat. Also room was on 3rd floor I’m in a wheelchair, she said everyone is in the same boat. I go no they can actually get to their room. I would never stay at this hotel again and would recommend you don’t either.

Never had a major issue with this place other than when trying to check in late at night (I come down after work around 10pm) the last two times someone wasn’t at the desk. The first time the person was in the office but the second time no one was there until they came out of the breakfast area. Other than that I love coming to this hotel and will continue to do so.
Apr 03, 2025 · MarissaThis hotel is terrible. DO NOT STAY HERE. Unless you like it LOUD, and rude service and rooms that may not have working air or a working TV. The late night front desk person is rude. There was a huge party and after 2 in the morning they did nothing. 3 in the morning still going strong. I suggested they move the party room to a different location or the lobby. But I guess that room was more important than my room and all the others surrounding it and they did NOTHING! When I spoke to the front desk and asked her what she was going to do about this, she literally said, ME? Yes! This IS your hotel? I’ve given this hotel several chances. I’ve had to change rooms before because we had a strange wind tunnel, another time the TV would not work, another time no air! No ac!! I’ve given more than a fair shake to this hotel. The loud party and RUDE, incompetent front desk person sealed the deal for the “this hotel is awful award”. The hotel didn’t even offer us a free bottled water to compensate. With lots of comparable options in the area, if you want to sleep and be treated with polite customer service and not have to change rooms, GO SOMEWHERE else. There are TWO Marriotts literally next door and a Holiday Inn about a mile away, and a Four points a mile away. Give someone your money that deserves it.
