Everything was good walking in. We went straight for the pool and that’s when it started going down hill. Used towels everywhere, puddles of dirty water, and paint chipping on the walls. We walked into the room, and the door had to be slammed for it to shut. Kids went straight to shower and the bathroom door doesn’t shut at all. Paint chipping from the tub and rust in the corners. The room walls have scrapes and old screw holes. After the kids showered, we looked for a hairdryer, (common in most places) and nowhere to be found. I went to ask for one and the front desk person thought it was weird. She took a good while to get one and didn’t seem very happy about it either. I’m not sure if she didn’t believe me or she was upset that she had to go get it. We usually have good experiences at other Holiday Inn’s but not impressed with this one.

Jul 26, 2025 · Luis AcostaI will not be staying here again. The rooms are ok , but the housekeeping department run the hotel. First, we called ahead to check in early. We were told noon was fine. We arrived at 1pm and were told that housekeeping didn’t release any rooms. We finally entered our room after 3pm, the normal check in time. The next morning we asked for a late check out due to a zoom meeting, but were we told that we were already checked out, it was 9 am. While on the phone with the front desk I could hear other guest complaining about housekeeping knocking on their door before 9am. Overall a bad experience.
Jul 30, 2025 · Shootntime YepThis place is a DUMP! The ladies up front are nice, but this location needs attention From corporate! Dirty smelling rooms, dirty carpets, Outdoor trash overflowing, other guests long black hair in the shower, dirty toilets, no hand soaps in the room, etc. Had to ask for a different room within 10 minutes due to a wet dog smell I our first room on the 2nd floor. Was this a pet friendly hotel at one time? Condensation in the bathroom during my shower had yellow drops coming from the ceiling, no one looks up when they clean!!! I can’t wait to get out of here! Yuk!
Jul 25, 2025 · Sherry LandonFound a roach in our room on the first night. The front desk changed our rooms, didn't get an upgraded one which sucked a little but they gave us some rewards points and free breakfast coupons for the three mornings we stayed. Our roach room was 321 In case you'd like to know. It wasn't finished with being clean it seemed as well. The blankets were untucked and there was a plastic bag still over the fire alarm from the past guests smoking in the room. The new room seemed fine. Breakfast was an absolute joke. It was $16 per person, and it SUCKED. it was literally the worst breakfast I have ever seen at a hotel, and I've never been to one where they wanted you to pay for it. The bacon and eggs were edible, but they didn't even have milk for cereal, or butter for toast. And the coffee downstairs wasn't complementary with the room, they wanted a lady to pay the $16 to get a cup of coffee. The pool was gross, the puddles of water from the nights before in the low spots on the floor around the pool were nasty. Also there was an abundance of particles and sand in the pools floating around, I wouldn't recommend dunking your head under. The security driving around the parking lot at night made me feel better about the safety, and all of the workers I chatted with were really nice. The hotel itself is very dimly lit and there's a lot of stains and dirty stuff like particles in the lamp shades in the lobbies. The bar is closed and there is not a restaurant in this hotel.
Jun 02, 2025 · a sI want to start by saying the front desk ladies were amazing and the hotel is nice just not a lot of places around so you’ll need to uber or drive. We made our reservation here because there was a res and bar. Well the restaurant and bar are closed due to low staff. That would have been nice to know when we made the reservation. The landscape in the sitting are out back is in need of some major attention. You can’t even see the river. I came down to get coffee at 6:30 none to be found. Any Holiday inn I have ever stayed at has coffee out at 6:00 am. Not a big deal because I am in no rush but what if I needed to hit the road or go to a business meeting. If you are wanting to walk to down town I would find a holiday inn in down town. Again I want to add the staff is very friendly and I would stay again but no matter what Holiday inn I stay at in the future I will ask if the restaurant and or bar is open.
