There were things about this stay that didn’t seem all that great. First off is the breakfast, everything is pretty poor quality. It’s chicken sausage patties that are always dried out and cold. Then you have scrambled eggs, one day and omelette the next day, but they’re premade and usually very dry by the time you get down to it. There were no regular yogurt options. Only the light options with the artificial sweeteners, just apples, dried out oatmeal, very poor cereal choices, all of the maple syrup are light with the artificial sweeteners, and juice selections not great, especially when you have kids. Our room comforters had weird yellow highlighter stains all over the comforters, but were otherwise clean. The pool and hot tub are great additions to your stay, except for our second night. Someone was having a birthday party, and it became quite clear very quickly that there were about 30 people who were not guests of the hotel who chose to use the pool during this party and at one point had 41 people in the pool when the occupancy was 30. I had to take my kids back to our room because it was so loud and too dangerous for a two-year-old in a four-year-old to try to swim. Later that same party was in the lobby celebrating and then most of them went home for the evening. I don’t understand why this is allowed. Laundry services are coin operated, and the service staff cannot give you quarters unless you present them with cash and there’s no ATM in the facility. We chose this hotel for the pricing for a short term notice trip, but I don’t believe I’ll be returning. A complementary breakfast you really can’t complain about, but you have to experience it to understand where I’m coming from.

At about 9:00am on the 8th while I was at the pool with my daughter, my son came down to join us at the pool and told me that someone was in one of our rooms cleaning. I honestly thought he was joking. He said the worker couldn't speak English but was taking all our stuff in the room and putting it in garbage bags. When I returned to the room, a little before 10am everything had been taken out of my room all the food, beverages, party supplies, and my son's birthday cards which included a $25 gift card was gone. Luckily my son was there because she was trying to take our clothes as well. I quickly pack what was left and checked out. I told the front desk, they found the worker and she had most of my belongings. When I returned home that's when I realized I was still missing a few items including 2 new pair of swim googles and my son's birthday cards and gift card. I contacted the hotel and have not heard back.

The room on the 2nd floor we stayed in smelled so bad like it was doused in men’s cologne to cover up that there was smoking in the room. Gave me a pounding headache and was difficult to breathe. The rooms are old and rundown.. The staff is kind and accommodating but would choose a different hotel next time.
