I’ve stayed here before but this stay was not the quality I had come to expect. First room had a dirty tub and all the loose chairs were on the bed (?!). Keycards didn’t work requiring repeat visits to the front desk to get them re-programmed. Bar closed both weekend nights at 815 when it clearly says it’s open until 10 pm. Front desk staff were generally helpful. Parties down the hall at midnight and barking dogs added to the frustration. So much for being Gold.

Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Northpoint Introduce

The Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Northpoint, a well-known name in the hospitality sector and a notable listing on the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform, offers a comfortable and convenient lodging option in Alpharetta, GA. The environment of the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Northpoint is typical of a modern suburban hotel. It is situated off US-19, approximately half a mile from North Point Mall, placing guests in a prime location for shopping, dining, and other amenities. The hotel itself is part of a commercial area, offering easy access to the surrounding city. While the immediate surroundings are not a natural retreat, the hotel aims to provide a clean and comfortable internal environment. Some rooms along the back of the property may offer views overlooking a waterway, while others might overlook the pool or patio areas. The lobby and common areas are designed with a contemporary feel, consistent with the Hilton Garden Inn brand standard, and there's a fireplace in the lobby for a welcoming touch. The presence of a terrace and garden areas offers some outdoor space for guests to relax. However, as with any hotel, the specific experience can be influenced by other guests, as indicated by reviews mentioning noise from parties or barking dogs, though the staff does make efforts to mitigate this, such as placing guests on higher floors away from large groups.

Business travelers are well catered for with extensive in-hotel meeting space (over 1,600 sq. ft. across three meeting rooms, accommodating up to 80 people), a 24-hour business center, and audio/visual equipment rental. Additional services include a 24-hour front desk, room service (limited hours), laundry service, dry cleaning, luggage storage, and express check-in/check-out. The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing dogs and cats for an extra charge per stay, with specific weight limits and a maximum of two pets.

Climate control is managed with individually adjustable heating and air conditioning. Many rooms are also equipped with a sofa bed, making them suitable for families. Connecting rooms are available upon request. The hotel also offers accessible rooms for guests with mobility needs. The focus on providing a comfortable, well-equipped room aligns with the Hilton Garden Inn brand's promise of a consistent and satisfying guest experience.

From a promotional standpoint, Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Northpoint leverages its brand recognition and its comprehensive amenities. It promotes itself as a "comfortable and convenient" choice for both business and leisure travelers in Alpharetta. The key selling points often highlighted are the complimentary WiFi, the on-site dining options (restaurant and bar), and the recreational facilities like the fitness center and seasonal outdoor pool. Its proximity to local attractions such as North Point Mall, Avalon, Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, and TopGolf Alpharetta is a significant draw for guests exploring the area. The positive aspects mentioned in reviews, such as the comfortable beds, good service (e.g., proactive room assignments to minimize noise), and pleasant staff, contribute to its overall promotional appeal. While some reviews indicate inconsistencies in cleanliness, service, or amenities (like the bar closing early or keycard issues), the hotel's affiliation with the Hilton brand generally implies a certain level of quality and service reliability. Hilton Honors members can also benefit from specific perks. The hotel is marketed as a suitable venue for small meetings and family events, with dedicated meeting spaces and catering services, further broadening its appeal within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category for those with diverse needs in Alpharetta.

In conclusion, the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Northpoint offers a solid option for travelers seeking accommodation in Alpharetta, GA, via the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform. It provides a standard set of comfortable rooms and a good range of amenities including a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and seasonal outdoor pool. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good service: When I checked it, the desk clerk said, "There's a large group of kids staying on the first floor. I'm putting you on the fifth floor so the noise won't bother you." I appreciated that!

This is the worst Hilton Garden Inn I’ve stayed at. I stay at Hilton chain hotels often. It needs to be closed and completely renovated. Very outdated. Furniture is worn in the lobby are. Carpet is staind. The lobby area was very warm. They had a box fan running. The AC in my room didn’t work. The keyless entry system wasn’t working. The staff was nice and friendly so no complaints there. Just an old property that is in desperate need of updating.

How can you say a disaster without saying it?! This hotel is going nowhere fast. I am in utter disbelief of the things I experienced while staying here. My sisters and I had been planning to have a Galentine's event at the Hilton Garden Inn North. I accidentally booked this one which is Hilton Garden Inn Northpoint. I thought to myself since it's a Hilton property then the same quality of service should exist as the other properties. However I was absolutely wrong to make this assumption. Let me first start by saying the front desk representative Aisha couldn't find my reservation and had me go through all kinds of red tape to confirm that I had a reservation there. Then finally after about 20 minutes or so we got the key to our room. When I tell you everything was filthy in that room, that's exactly what I mean, EVERYTHING!!! The couch had pet hair all over it, the bathroom was dirty and to top it off there were no working lights in the room except for maybe one. So of course we went back to the front desk and requested another room. The second room was room 326 to be exact, but why was the entire hallway wet and signs on the doors saying the carpet was just cleaned which initially made us excited; however, when we got in the room, the carpet had that wet carpet sour smell to it. We had to prop the door open with the luggage cart to let it air out some. Again the couch had hair all over it, there were a couple of lights out and the bathroom door didn't lock. When I called the front desk to make Aisha aware of it and other items we needed such as more tissue and towels, she advised there was no maintenance or housekeeping working. As I was trying to get an understanding of who was going to resolve these issues, she said that she would do it herself and hung up the phone. This was rude and unprofessional. One of my sisters decided to go down to the front desk to get the tissue and towels up and was told they didn't have any, but some should arrive at the hotel by 8pm. By this time we had to pull out all the stops by cleaning and spraying everything down with Lysol including the carpet, and lighting candles to try to get that scent out of the room. Two of us were able to take showers, the other one had to wait until more towels arrived which further delayed our Galentine's event because part of it was us all being showered up with matching Valentines pajamas and socks. After hours of dealing with the madness of making the room somewhat liveable, we were finally able to make our homemade snacks, charcuterie board and pop open a bottle of sparkling wine. We made the best of what time we had however most of our time was spent trying to get the room up to par. It was tough sleeping through the night because of the sour carpet smell and loud banging noises during the night and morning from people slamming the doors. The next day when we got up for breakfast as my sister was putting the sofa bed back up, she noticed dirty clothes behind the sofa and dirty men's underwear underneath the sofa. Now we all know that this is disgusting and a major safety hazard. I have complained about this to all three managers who are Sibrina (Front Desk Manager), LaToya (Assistant General Manager) and Perry (The General Manager). Perry offered no empathy or apology for the situation but did promise that he would give 5000 Hilton Honors points which I could redeem for a free night. Needless to say, Perry has failed to keep his promise. I've called him multiple times to follow up, however he has ducked and dodged all my calls and told staff to tell me that he is going to call me back which of course he hasn't. Now I see why the hotel is substandard. They have a GM that doesn't value customers or customer service. I've given all of them several opportunities and more than enough time to right this wrong. I've been staying at The Hilton Garden Inns for almost a decade now and have always been very satisfied. This is the first time I've had to write a review as such. Therefore, I highly recommend ***DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.***

The ladies at the front desk are very professional and hospitable, especially being a female solo guest it really means a lot. They are very prompt and proficient with all request and needs, and not once failed to ask if I needed anything and told me not hesitate to let them know if they could be of assistance during my stay. More times than not I have witnessed men and couples getting top tier treatment and I would be treated so differently. Not this time. So thank you!
