If I could choose 0 stars I would. We came down from NJ to Alpharetta, when we arrived they told us they didn’t have room for us & they were working on it. We made these reservations 1 month ago, so how is there no room? Once they found it, the room we were given the AC didn’t work. We went back to the front desk to inform Julius, when he then huffed & gave an attitude at the fact we put our stuff in the room. We were switched to a different room where the AC worked but it was still humid in the room. The 3rd day I went back to the front desk, where Julius was again & asked for more towels. The towels have yet to be brought to the room. The customer service is horrible, Julius should NOT be working front desk with a nasty attitude like he has. The rooms are somewhat nice but cleaners should be around to stock up what’s missing. This location is horrible, read the reviews & find another hotel. I highly don’t recommend this hotel.

While the hotel aims to provide a comfortable and convenient experience, it's important to consider customer feedback objectively. Recent reviews indicate a mixed bag of experiences, with some highlighting significant areas for improvement. Positive aspects often mentioned include the convenient location, especially its proximity to North Point Mall, restaurants, and other local attractions. The spaciousness of the rooms and the presence of kitchens are generally appreciated by guests. The breakfast offering is also frequently mentioned as a positive aspect, with some guests finding it "pretty good" and "decent."
However, several recent reviews raise concerns regarding service and maintenance. Issues reported include difficulties with air conditioning (rooms being hot or AC not working properly), non-functional plumbing (toilets not flushing, tub drains not working), and a lack of responsiveness from staff regarding these issues. A recurring theme in the negative feedback revolves around customer service, particularly concerning a specific front desk staff member named Julius, whose attitude and helpfulness were criticized by multiple guests. There were instances where guests reported not receiving requested items like towels, even after asking multiple times. Cleanliness and stocking of amenities in rooms also appear to be inconsistent, with reports of dirty rugs and missing dishes/utensils in kitchens. Some guests also noted a strong unpleasant odor in common areas like the elevator. The mandatory parking fee, despite ample free parking in the area, was a point of contention for some.
It is evident that while the hotel's physical amenities and location are strong points, there are significant inconsistencies in service delivery and property maintenance that have negatively impacted guest experiences. Prospective guests should consider these points when making a booking, balancing the advantages of the location and suite features against the reported service and maintenance challenges.

May 17, 2025 · Darriah RobinsonThe hotel experience was a 1/10. We informed Julius at check in that our toilet wouldn’t flush and the tub drain was not working properly. We left to grab food while maintenance supposedly went to work on our room. The toilet was fix however the tub still was not working properly. We informed him again and he stated there’s isn’t anything he could do about it and maintenance has gone home for the day. He didn’t offer any other rooms considering we paid an additional $30 for a walk in shower. The customer service was not great. He was very stand offish and looks like he doesn’t enjoy his job or doesn’t like being around the general public. Also, housekeeping never came to bring more towels, I’m guessing that they either don’t work on weekends or we have to call the front desk to request them. The television in the living room barely work. We were unable to select our choice options due to the remote not working properly. We took the elevator to the first floor to head to breakfast and it smelt really bad. I’m not sure if dogs lived on the first floor but it really smelled like a dirty dog kennel and thats not a smell that you want to smell going to or coming from breakfast. Breakfast was pretty good. Also, the room was hot. The A/C would stay on only for about 30 secs before turning off. Again, there was nothing Julius could to accommodate us for these issues. The location was great due to the restaurants and the mall being in close proximity. Overall, we will not be returning.
Mar 30, 2025 · Corinthian O'NealDRUGS. UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT. STAFF THAT OVERLOOKS SMOKING AND PARTYING. DIRTY. This was the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel we have ever stayed in. This is NOT a family friendly safe hotel. Doors are zip-tied open so people (who are not paid hotel customers) can come in and go out whenever they want- allowing friends and area locals into the hotel to party who are not guests and do not have secure keys. We cut the zip ties off the doors AT LEAST 6 times and they were replaced with new ones. There is SO MUCH MARIJUANA being smoked in the hotel-every floor, the elevators, the hallways, the rooms- it makes you choke. We had to cover our noses and faces each and every time we came and went. Once in our room, there were not sheets for the bed nor enough towels for our family. The pullout bed mattress was absolutely disgusting! We had to go get extra towels and then used those to shove under the door to try to stop the smoke from coming into our room. We had to open the windows on our 3rd floor room and prop them open (during 40 degree weather and pouring rain/storms) just so the air was semi-breathable. Hotel "guests" had friends coming and going through zip-tied open doors, where they were partying and yelling until 4:50 in the morning. They were inside the hotel and outside in the parking lot smoking weed, revving engines and yelling over blaring music. The hotel did not have a manager on duty and I was told there would not be one until Tuesday (we stayed a Friday/Saturday night). I later called again on Monday to talk to a manager about our stay and I was told there would not be a manager or assistant manager on duty until Tuesday or Wednesday. I have contacted Sonesta corporate who seem to just refer this back to this hotel's managers to take care of-which obviously they care nothing about. I have stayed in hotels that were less than clean. I have stayed in hotels that had louder guests. It is to be expected sometimes. THIS WAS NOT THAT. This was THE WORST hotel experience. It felt UNSAFE. It felt DIRTY. It really felt dangerous. And it felt as though managers are just an idea but aren't actually on staff there. I would not be surprised to find bed bugs and/or mites from this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA OR ANY BREATHING/RESPIRATORY ISSUES. Do not stay here if you have kids traveling with you. Do not stay here if you wish for cleanliness or quiet. Do not stay here if you want sheets or towels provided upon arrival. Worst hotel yet.
Mar 01, 2025 · Deb JanetteThis building is poorly managed, with little attention given to cleanliness or customer care. I requested new sheets, and a staff member left them on the floor outside my door—completely unacceptable and unhygienic. This demonstrates a lack of respect for customers and a disengaged approach to their job. Additionally, I tried contacting the manager, but they never got back to me, which reflects a lack of leadership. The only postive thing about this stay was the excellent service provided by an older woman at the front desk. She was kind, professional, and clearly takes pride in her work. Unfortunately, aside from her outstanding service, I cannot recommend staying here if you value cleanliness, responsiveness, or quality service.
Jan 25, 2025 · Rachel ToyerWorst extended stay I've ever experienced. Completely unacceptable smell of dog crap in the building. You can smell the inside of the building from outside! And the lovely smell stays on your clothes. Even the staff knew exactly which building i referred to without even giving my room number - that means you're aware of it. When I asked to check out 3 days early because of the smell they said I would forfeit my prepayment. How nice, right? Lastly I asked for a simple frying pan since my room didn't have one, and they said no. They could get me one tomorrow. Stay anywhere else but here.
