Great welcoming staff! Parking was fine. Clean room. Tons of electrical outlets. Quiet(er) air conditioner. Comfortable. The only half negative, which I've seen in other reviews, is that the shower never got more than luke warm. BUT, the overall experience was great.

One of the best experiences we had. In town for a family funeral and the staff was extremely understanding, allowing our rooms to be close to family. The rooms were big and clean, the location was central where we needed to be and everything was great. Will come back in the future.

Subject: Feedback on My Recent Stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Roslyn, NY Dear Hilton I am writing to share my experience during my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Roslyn, New York. Upon arrival, the hotel presented a pleasing exterior; however, my subsequent experience did not meet the expected standards. Regrettably, the cleanliness of the rooms was below par, indicating minimal attention from the housekeeping staff. Throughout our stay, we placed used towels beneath the sink, yet two of these towels remained there for the duration of our visit without being collected. On the first morning following our check-in, we encountered a lack of hot water for our showers. Despite numerous calls to the front desk requesting assistance and even asking for a room change, it appeared that staff members were uncertain about how to resolve the issue. After 45 minutes of receiving conflicting information, we resorted to washing with lukewarm water from the sink, as we had an urgent commitment at the cemetery. As we exited the hotel, the front desk manager attempted to reassure us without presenting any viable solution for the hot water problem. Upon our return later that day, we were informed that hot water was now available. Unfortunately, the following morning, I attempted to shower first and again found there was no hot water. This led to a repeat of the previous day’s ordeal. I managed to take a shower with warm water, but my wife had to endure a cold shower immediately afterward. As a disabled senior citizen, I have fond memories of traveling for business and have previously chosen Hilton as my preferred brand. However, after this experience, I am disheartened and have decided not to utilize Hilton accommodations in the future. Upon checkout, I requested some form of compensation for the inconveniences experienced, but was only offered a complimentary breakfast, which I find unsatisfactory given the circumstances. Recently stayed here for a few nights. The hotel is conveniently located a short train ride to NYC from nearby Manhasset with clean and comfortable rooms and nice pool, gym and hot tub facilities. However, check out your assigned room before unpacking. My room on the 4th floor had a lot of noise relating to plumbing, HVAC, room fridge and nearby hotel water pumps to the point where the entire room would shake periodically for an extended time resulting in poor sleep. Also, staff would arrive at the employee's entrance at the back of the hotel blasting their car stereos at all times of the morning and afternoon. Management had oversold the hotel so relocating from my room to another area of the hotel wasn't possible.

I only stayed one night but it was a nice experience right from check-in. The floors were in the process of being washed, so the gentleman from the front desk, who was very friendly and polite, wheeled my luggage through the slippery hallway to the elevator. The hotel was very clean. The next morning I had food delivered to my room and the desk called to confirm for my safety, and she was so polite. My only complaint is the walls seemed very thin. Right before going to sleep, the guy in the next room was loudly talking on the phone for awhile, and I could feel/hear every footstep he took. I still give it 5 stars though!
