May 12, 2025 · Mary Kate SlatteryGreat for families – we felt so welcome! We stayed with our two kids for the weekend, and The Roslyn was perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great local tips and making our kids feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet—ideal for a family. Breakfast was quick and tasty, and the whole experience was smooth and relaxing. We’ll definitely stay here again!
Apr 30, 2025 · Jessica DzusThe hotel is nicely renovated and offers a decent place to stay if you are visiting for an event ( wedding, etc.). I would not come here especially for the stay. The rooms are nice, the shower is good, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The old construction allows noise from the hallway and nearby rooms to carry into the rooms. We woke up multiple times at night due to nearby noisy hotel guests. The administration put up signs asking guests to be quiet during resting hours, but they can not prevent guests from making noises. Better soundproofing would be more helpful. The breakfast food at the hotel is not great but decent. The service, however, is not good. We waited almost an hour for a cappuccino when there were hardly any guests at the restaurant. After repeated requests, one server finally made the coffee and allowed it to sit for 10 minutes and get cold, saying he was waiting for "our server" to bring it to our table. Finally, at checkout, the hotel billed us for the full cost of breakfast and did not apply the daily food and beverage credit given to Gold Hilton Honors members. After 3 phone calls, the hotel administration eventually refunded the charge. I actually stayed here before, a few years ago, and had a different experience. I'm not sure what has changed. Perhaps the administration is different.
Feb 11, 2025 · Ohad KottBe aware that this is NOT a hotel. It is a night club with a side-hustle of renting rooms. The first night we stayed (a Friday) was fine, with minimal noise from the event on the bottom floor. The second night the entire hotel was incredibly noisy for at least 2 two hours AFTER the show ended. I'm not just talking about the raised voices and careless noise of drunk people leaving the venue or heading back to their rooms. For two full hours there was screaming and yelling both inside the hotel and outside. We couldn't even complain about a particular person, group, or room. The excessive screaming came from rooms beside and above us, from the lobby, and from the sidewalks outside. It was mind-boggling that the staff would allow and tolerate this level of noise in a hotel -- it only makes sense in that this establishment is primarily for music events; not for rest, sleep, or relaxation. The room itself was clean and what I expected for the price. And the staff were generally friendly. But I will never stay here again.
