I visited the location in April and enjoyed my stay for the most part. The location was about a 20 minute walk to the Bourbon Street area and less than a 5 minute walk to the casino. Room was a decent size and clean, as well as the bathroom. There is a bar/restaurant located downstairs. My only dislike of the stay was the front desk at check-in and the overall demeanor with the employees I interacted with. When we checked in the employee was kind of rude and seemed bothered that I didn't make reservation. Very short and dismissive when I asked questions. If they didn't have any rooms available I would've understood and been completely fine with that, but they had rooms, so why be nasty to a paying customer? Also the security guard upfront had the same demeanor as the front desk girl. I just wanted to ask about valet and he snapped at me saying he couldn't help me go to the front desk. Thankfully when I checked out, that employee was nice. I was beginning to think that's just how New Orleans is, full of rude people. Nice hotel, just not friendly service. Wouldn't recommend.

Jun 08, 2025 · Bee KiddoThe view of the river was awesome. It's definitely not worth the price tag! The hidden resort fee of $50 per night and the $35 per day parking fee. Had issues with the people in the adjacent room. Had to call twice before security came to quiet down the party at 1am.
Jun 08, 2025 · jason bottrellWonderful hotel! The first night I couldn't find quite the right pillow on my bed (each has 4), but the next two nightly I slept amazing! The temp control in the room is easy to use. I like that the TV has the sleep option so I can set it to turn off a while after I fall asleep. I was here for a conference, and the breakfast pastries were delicious, lunch was also pretty good, and the meeting rooms were great for the breakout sessions. All staff were very friendly from the concierge, the check in desk, bell desk. I didn't experience any issues during my stay. And it's neat that it's connected to a little mall with plenty of stores and a food court if you don't want to go out, or if the weather is bad.
May 08, 2025 · Rebecca MiniscalcoCons- Really outdated hotel, parking is $50. We were woken up every single night (by water sounds, people screaming at 2-3am, train passing by). When I checked out, there were no greetings by the front desk (just asked what’s your room number). A little gesture and inquiry about my stay would have been good. Pros- Close to the convention center, housekeeping were pleasant and friendly.
Jun 07, 2025 · Nitin PuriThe whole experience has been great. Housekeeping was wonderful and available all the time. The front desk answered all questions immediately. Rooms were well equipped, food in dining areas was good. Bars and servers were great. Overall will definitely be back.
