Was concerned after coming in late at night reading the reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised. While my five star is based on value for money. They met all expectations. Clean room, clean bed and towels. Nice remodel shower. Room had good light and everything was clean. Breakfast was one of the better one I have had. Nice atmosphere.

May 14, 2025 · Bones2175 KitchensSmelly fridge, old mattress, bleak workout room, and bad coffee. Nice receptionist and a longer but doable walk to some eateries. But I wouldn’t stay here again. The renovations left ripped drywall and other bad details, like the body and hand soaps switched. Even the channel listing for the TV was wrong.
May 15, 2025 · Robert BerrettaShanay, who helped me over the phone and at the front desk, was very helpful, kind, and informative. She let me know all about pricing details and also let me know about important information on the property, such as desk hours (24 hours) and more. She was such a shining light during this hard time in my life. I have had some bad experiences with nearby hotels and it was so refreshing to see a hotel (with available phones outside of the room for an emergency) that actually cared about the safety of its guests.
Mar 23, 2025 · Devin JohnsonThe rooms are gross. We couldn’t use one bed because of how dirty the sheets were. Black crumbs all over the bed. The comforter hadn’t been washed in ages. It was full of yellow filth. The front desk wasn’t friendly. And the 200$ incidental fee for one night is absurd. Won’t stay here again. The inn on the square is better.
Aug 24, 2024 · Amanda KateDespite the convenient location of the inn, its proximity to the downtown area, and the easy access to the parking lot for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, we are finding it increasingly difficult to overlook certain aspects of the property. While the recent upgrade to a king bed suite was a nice gesture, the age of the inn is evident in more ways than one. The building is old, and this has become more of a drawback than anticipated. The most challenging issue is the unpleasant odor that permeates the room and hallways, a sign of the inn’s outdated infrastructure and poor maintenance. It's hard to feel comfortable in a space where the air itself feels stale and unwelcoming. The overall atmosphere detracts from what could have been a relaxing stay, especially considering the premium price paid for the convenience of location. At this point, while the ferry access remains a major perk, the drawbacks of staying here are becoming too difficult to ignore. We are starting to reconsider our future stays at this property, as the trade-off between convenience and comfort is increasingly leaning toward the latter.
