My husband had reserved a room for a conference in late May. Three weeks ago he had a catastrophic hemorrhagic stroke. When I spoke to the Inn regarding a refund for the rooms, I was told that they would only give us half our money back. When I explained our situation, for which I could provide proof if required, I was told that the policy is to NEVER refund more than half. This was escalated to a manager who said the same thing. They NEVER give a full refund. It's not as if we were cancelling the day before. The Inn had plenty of time to rent the room again. This was a case of greed. Pure and simple greed. They got half our money and will now get the full amount for the room. I have no idea if the hotel is nice, or if the rooms are comfortable, or anything else about it, and I will never know because I will NEVER step foot in a place that lacks compassion and is all about the bottom line of money.

May 11, 2025 · Caroline WigginThe town and surrounding area was very cute. The room itself didn’t look like it had been cleaned very well and we found a body hair and what looked like dirt specks on the sheets and comforter. Our room had a jacuzzi which was nice but also had some dirt around it. There was an 25 dollar amenity fee which we were not told about over the phone which included two cartons of water and pool and wifi access. Wouldn’t recommend.
Mar 20, 2025 · Alyssa PepplerI was coming to visit my daughter from California but my flight was canceled and rescheduled to the next day. She goes to college out there and her dorm is closed for renovations over a weekend. She's a freshman and doesn't know anyone well enough to ask their parents if she could stay. This hotel wouldn't let her check in since she was under 21 and didn't care about the circumstance. She's sleeping in her car tonight until I get there tomorrow. This is not a MA law that you have to be 21+ and is just their policy. I was saddened by their complete disregard for us as guests.
Mar 14, 2025 · Vanessa BrownFirst the positive. Excellent location, great restaurant Percy's Place, staff was very helpful, room was a generous size, bed was not too bad, nice outside sitting area. Pool looked nice but didn't use it. Now the negative. Could be cleaner. Bathroom had mold on shower curtain and shower grout. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes or drying towels. Water pressure was not to good. Bed pillows were horrible. Either you were hot or freezing with ac unit, room did not hold temperature.
Oct 25, 2024 · peter klippProbably the worst hotel I have stayed in in decades. The most dangerous showers and baths. Staff was great to accommodate our last minute request to stay. We had to move two times which was no big deal but the rooms were awful. Not sure if this is typical for area but I have traveled for decades and the worst rooms. Toilet seats not fitting toilet, pillows were ridiculous and should not be called pillows bathrooms horrendous.
