Mar 24, 2025 · Bob SimekWe chose this facility based on the great reviews seen online because of its closeness to activities that we wanted for my 50th birthday. However, our experience was less than stellar. Upon arrival on Friday evening when we went to bed, we found some sort of debris all over my wife's side of the bed. We called front desk and were told someone would be right up to "freshen" the linen. Upon arrival, the housekeeper that was sent was less than happy to be there and it took him almost 25 minutes to make the bed. Realize this was after we had driven 5 hours to get there at about 11 pm. So, now bed is made... On Saturday, I stop into registration to let them know what happened and was told I would be contacted by property and housekeeping manager. Only person to contact me was housekeeping manager who just offered another refresh. She was nice and said anymore issues could be directed directly to her. To say the least we were very disappointed.
May 29, 2024 · Todd McKayOverall it’s was a lovely long weekend away. However there are definitely some issues that need addressing. Dirty unit; fridge door hasn’t been wiped down in who knows how long, brown water in bath, shelves with so much water damage the wood is chipping off which doesn’t make keeping the glasses upside a good idea. Phone calls non stop to get you to attend a sales pitch. After the third call I just unplugged the phone. Next time will just unplug at the start. Gym is large but people don’t seem to clean up after themselves so lots of weights left around and empty cups and pieces of the ceiling tiles. Not sure how often staff get in there to clean. Would be better if guests just took care of themselves. However nice things were the friendly and helpful activity center staff, maintenance guy and check in. Facilities and activities are great and varied. Mini golf is fun(needs new green desperately thought). Very close to Lee premium outlets, large grocery store and gas station. Nice property location with woods all around.
Oct 08, 2023 · Jasmine AlbagliRooms were clean. The overall resort just had a feeling of behind the times. You can book a room for a nite or more, but they hit u with time share push. Most buildings are 3 stories with handicap parking but no elevator. We like to settle down at nite and watch movies. There's no on demand or streaming. They actually have DVD players that are chained to the walls along with the non smart tvs. The chest of draws were chained also. Not really sure why anyone would steal a outdated non smart TV or furniture from the 80's. Doesn't everyone have atleast prime and or Netflix. I know we won't be back. It blows my mind that they would try to make a sales pitch for time share investment in a property that is not being updated and invested in isn't that the biggest complaint about time share monthly maintenance fees and where it's going. Feb 19, 2024 · Paul VachonGreat place for peace and quiet a mid the wilderness. Beautiful trails and museums. Units are nice sized with a slight rustic feel and the kitchen is more useful than you would think. Grocery store is 2 min away. There is a laundry facility on property if needed. Had to take stairs to get to the unit but we are fine with that. Lots of pools and mini golf right there. In the fall, we always take a ride up to the top of Mount Greylock and have picnic. The winding drive is filled with breathtaking views, the kind you see in calendars. Kids love the mountain coaster and ropes course at Jiminy Peak. I prefer shopping at the Outlets and my other half just likes that he can be left alone for some much needed peace and quiet, Lol. We love the down to earth, homey feeling and will continue to visit.
