We stayed in the suite and it was beautiful! Lots of historic character and details preserved but with some modern updates. It could use some more updating/repairs but nothing that made us uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great and the common rooms to eat it in were beautiful. Access to the bikes was fun, though the road is a bit busy so we didn’t use them as much as I had anticipated. All in all, don’t expect a chain hotel experience. It’s more like a bed and breakfast, but a great one for the price.

Rooms typically feature comfortable beds, private bathrooms with good water pressure (even for an older property), deep soaking bathtubs in some, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, air conditioning, heating, and coffee/tea makers. Flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and free local calls are also provided. While some areas might "use some more updating/repairs," guests generally report a comfortable and clean experience. Hypo-allergenic bedding is available. The hotel also offers accessible rooms for guests with specific needs. It's important to note that upper floors are accessible by stairs only, as there are no elevators.

Aug 18, 2023 · Holly MalinowskyBeautiful old house on a gorgeous property! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I only stayed one night but the room was clean and easily accessible. Water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good for the age of the property. Breakfast was available in the morning and had a large variety of food!
Oct 13, 2023 · Sydney HaleLoved staying at this place! It’s just what I needed. Taking a couple of days out to relax in this peaceful well kept place was ideal! Bike are free to use on sites which we used both days to go into town and get food and ice cream The staff were friendly and went out of there way to be helpful asking of our wants and needs and if we have any questions about the local area. They mentioned the the whole place is to be upgraded, new pool, inside and activities. I think this place is great and the most peaceful and pleasant place I’ve stayed in the states. I highly recommend Seven Hills Inn 🥇
Jul 22, 2023 · Matt RobertsI rarely give poor reviews but feel necessary to set expectations about the guest experience her. CONS: primarily the staff. Husband and I stayed here as part of a larger wedding room block - and immediately on arrival it felt as though we were unwanted. The rest of the large party felt there same. The check in process was cold and very unaccommodating. The accommodations were clean but very surprised this qualifies for a four star hotel. feels much more like a three star - from the water pressure to the free breakfast all very average. Lenox is a smaller town than I expected and locations of other inns are more ideal - here you have to definitely drive on some country road stretches to get to anywhere. PROS: the walls are thick and couldn’t hear any neighbors upstairs or to the side. The weather was on our side this weekend so sitting in the hammocks and outdoor chairs was pleasant. All in all average stay.
Jul 24, 2023 · Jacqueline Cerniglia DionMy husband and I were guests here for my birthday weekend (checking in Sat, checking out Sun) and it was a surprise for me. We live in CT about 1.5 hrs. away. I’ve read some of the reviews and will share our experience: The Inn has three main buildings - the main historic mansion, a smaller carriage house to the right, and to the left a separate motel-styled 2-story building called the Terrace House. If someone thought their room was in the main historic manor and ended up in Terrace House, I could see how they would think it was a “bait and switch” upon arrival. I do agree that the welcome at check-in was not as hospitable as it could have been - very functional greeting and when we asked about the hiking trails the inn had featured, the young woman said she had no idea about any of them and couldn’t give us any advice because she lived a town over. - - BUT - - We had a lovely time. We were in room 106 of the Terrace House and my hubby said it was exactly as advertised. It was clean, the bathroom and linens were fresh, and the air conditioning was on full blast when we entered. We didn’t mind the noise of the window unit because it insulated us - we heard not a sound from outside. We did not come up to the Berkshires, however to stay in the room - it’s too beautiful out. But when we were in our room, we were satisfied. The general area doesn’t have good cellular service, but the Inn had strong wifi. The grounds are beautiful and you have the opportunity to build your own fire pit at night, which we did when we returned from dinner and it was the most peaceful experience before heading in for the night. While we didn’t use the pool, we saw it being cleaned/maintained and we saw other guests using it. The Inn was packed this weekend and there was a nice bustle at breakfast time in the main manor. A previous reviewer said the breakfast was basic, but that was not our experience - it was Continental (no hot items) but there was a hearty selection. We had gone out to dinner at Firefly Gastro Pub, 10 minutes away and the food/cocktails were fabulous. Would highly recommend. We would encourage people to give Seven Hills Inn a chance. I’ve included photos as well.
