Awful check in experience. Christine the front desk agent didn’t allow me to check in when my name was on the reservation email. She had to call someone in the middle of the night and wake them up just to confirm what was already written. When I expressed that I was in fact on the reservation, she essentially said it didn’t count for her and acted incredibly unprofessional and reactive. She should quite honestly leave any sort of public facing job.

May 15, 2025 · Faith BanachWe stayed here for a single night and while the stay itself was eventless, the breakfast was an extremely frustrating experience which showed undertones of racism in the way the waiting staff dealt with us. We paid for the breakfast as part of our room package and arrived at the restaurant around 9:20 am. The restaurant was super busy at the time and I can totally understand that the waiting staff being overwhelmed. We respected this and patiently waited. We kept trying to get the waiting staff’s attention for a good 30 mins and no one even said a word to us or apologized for the delay. 40 minutes go by and now it’s 10 am. At this point it’s important to note that we are Indian couple. They started taking ordered for white customers who had arrived a full 10 minutes after us. Not one, but 3 different tables had arrived much later than us and they were all serviced while we continued to get ignored. A bit further away from us, there was a Chinese family who had arrived earlier than us and even they were trying to get the attention of the waiting staff only to be completely ignored in favor of the white customers. Eventually they walked away in frustration. To me, this situations reads as an OVERT SIGN OF RACISM that the two sets of non-white customers who had arrived before so many others were completely being ignored. 40 minutes later, we were eventually served after complaining to the reception. This is completely unacceptable from a chain like Holiday Inn to treat non-white customers as second class citizens. This has put such a bad taste in our mouth and I will not be staying at this hotel chain or recommending this to anyone in the future I wanted to clarify that had this just been our experience only, I’d have let this go. But watching this happen to the only two non-white couples in the restaurant is indicative of a pattern and not an isolated incident
May 18, 2025 · Vignesh VThis is a hidden gem. The facility was well maintained and clean. The staff were the nicest group I've ever met. The pool was clean and warm. The breakfast was individually prepared from menu items we chose, not a buffet like you usually get. We plan to stay there again when we are back in the area.
Feb 15, 2025 · Glenn HI wasn't expecting this hotel to be my favorite stay out of all the ones my husband and I have stayed in. I can definitely say location can be deceiving! I expected the bare minimum cause of it since it's almost an isolated inn, BUT I was pleasantly surprised 😮 We were greeted by this bubbly front desk employee (I'm so sorry I didn't look at her name tag), but she wore glasses and was the sweetest front desk experience we've had. And informative! She made our check in quick and easy and informed us of their Bistro/Bar (which we didn't know they had) along with the extra charges in case of room damage or added service. Our room was great and, most importantly, CLEAN. Perfect for any couple wanting a spacious room for a time away with plenty of extra space for clothes and bags. I LOVED the barn-style bathroom door as well. Gave the room a different vibe. The amenities provided (Dove Shampoo, Conditioner + Lotion) were lovely. Yes, there's a hair dryer included as well! Bonus for us ladies who don't bring one. We had no issues with noise despise the pool being below us and families enjoying themselves. When 10 came around everything was quiet. Since we were snowed in due to the weather, we had no choice but to dine at the Bistro which would be our only low score. It's passable dinner dishes (burgers, pizza, wings, steak) for someone who is hungry and looking to dine in. Definitely a bit overpriced (so beware). However, the best part of the Bistro was the bar. Excellent Drinks. Me and my husband definitely will come here again and recommend it if you're hesitant.
Jan 20, 2025 · MillyAll around nice place with wonderful staff and great breakfast. However, getting a commercial bus internet drive is NOT recommended. Parking across the road is available but if the group has any mobility issues it is uphill and a bit of a walk. If your just in your own vehicle, all is well. Easy access to the interstate.
