We usually stay here before early morning flights. In our experience the rooms are very clean and quiet, and we like having the Royal Farms and Cracker Barrel right next door. On our most recent stay in February (and every other time we have stayed), the front desk staff was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. They were helpful and welcoming. This trip, when we checked out on a Sunday morning, the experience could not have been more different. The lady was doing something behind the curtain behind the front desk, while I waited patiently to check out at the desk. We were early for the scheduled airport shuttle, so I just patiently stood there until she noticed me. When she did, she was clearly annoyed before I even said anything, telling me I could have just left my keys. Well, I like to hand my keys to an employee and get a receipt. She grabbed the keys from me and told me I’d get a receipt emailed, actually rolling her eyes when I said thank you. Then, our shuttle was late. Once it got to be 15 minutes late, we started to worry a little and I simply asked her if she could check on its status. She barked at me that I had to be patient, that there was “traffic.” This was 6am in a Sunday morning in February - there was no traffic. When it became 25 minutes late, my husband approached her and again asked if she could somehow find out the estimated arrival time, as we thought at that point we might need to uber. She barked at him “how dare we care more about the time than her driver’s safety.” What??? At that point, the driver arrived, and we immediately went outside as she was yelling at us from the front desk about our lack of concern for the driver. He went inside while we were getting in the van, and I could see her pointing at us and talking to him. We were sure to tell him that we had simply asked her for a status, that we were not angry with him, and gave him a generous tip. Apparently he had been delayed picking others up at a sister hotel. If she had just told us that, we would have been fine. She was so shockingly rude and nasty I don’t know if we’d stay here again. Which is such a shame because the other employees have all been so wonderful. I wish I had gotten her name, but my guess is they will know who this is if they read this.

Mar 22, 2025 · CLFHotel is only few minutes from the airport. Lobby was very clean and organized. It also smelled great - must be an air freshener. Everything in my room was clean and new. Room has a big fridge, microwave, dishwasher in the kitchen. TV also offers nice selection of channels. Toilet paper was not paper thin, that was nice. Breakfast was good - I really liked that omelets were ready to pick up.

The hotel itself was a 5 star hotel. The whole hotel was clean and the staff we encountered were all very friendly. Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed for our short stay. Would definitely stay here again.

They called us at 9 PM on the day we were arriving at hotel (technically in a few hours) and told us they were canceling our reservation!!! They just said sorry and there was nothing they could do about it. I had 3 kids coming in from an out of state flight at almost 3 AM and now we had no where to go and sleep! I am boarding the plane at the time of this call so I could not find another hotel until we landed in the early morning hours. They put me in a very dangerous situation with my family. I have never in my life had a hotel sell my room to another person that I had already paid for! So unacceptable! I will be contacting corporate and will put a horrible review wherever I can.

The cord is ripped off. Saturday No hand soap had to walk to reception and ask again. Toilet clogged - they handed me a plunger to unclog it MYSELF! Sunday According to the sign in bathroom, they are to clean every other day. Sunday was due to clean. We were out and came back around lunch time. Nothing was clean. Trash still full No clean towels. No toilet paper; had to use tissues. No paper towels No vacuuming. No body wash. Sunday- talked to Reception(Maria?) At 3:39pm, she said I can request they clean tomorrow. I told her I have been here since Friday and no one has cleaned and we leave the day she is saying we can request housekeeping. She said "oh maybe we didn't have enough staff" I told her our needs said someone will be up. At 5pm, no one had been up, I walked down and talked to them directly. She said that she talked to them and housekeeping said they came in and "cleaned and wiped counters" t My room was not touched. I had to carry my own towels, trash bags and toilet paper up to my room. They sent someone up to replace body wash and left. I emptied my own trash, and placed it outside my room along with the towels that they didn't collect today. Saturday night there was a very loud family that was LITERALLY running/yelling in the halls until 3am. No one came up and did nothing about it. The hotel is beautiful but there is NO honesty, consistency or pride in their service. The breakfast and the kitchen staff was great!
