i wish i saw the reviews. the rooms are utterly filthy. do they not clean them? trash all over the floor, bugs every where, stains on the sheets… just filth every where. they switched my room FIVE times. how can they get away with being opened? i will be reporting their establishment along with their connecting one motel 6 next door as they tried giving me a room there and same thing. they absolutely do not clean. i took videos of every thing. i was just in the rooms and never slept there. i reek like cigs! disgusting. very inhumane to put a mother and their small child in such conditions. i got my money back because i had to say i would dispute with my bank. i am baffled how they can get away with keeping these places opened. i stayed at very cheap motels by atlantic city for like $30 a night and was absolutely clean. maybe a bit cig smell but clean. this is utterly uncalled for! i booked for the location but otherwise go somewhere else! they shortened my videos on here but you get the idea.
This introduction provides an objective overview of the Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport, a lodging option that may appear in searches under the platform category "Hotels Near Of Me." This category is designed to assist local users in finding convenient accommodations for various needs, whether it's for a quick overnight stay, a layover, or a budget-conscious trip. The Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport is situated at 600 N Governor Printz Blvd, Lester, PA 19029, USA, and can be contacted via phone at (610) 521-3900 or mobile at +1 610-521-3900.
When considering any hotel, particularly those near transportation hubs like airports, location is often a primary factor. The Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport's address suggests its proximity to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), making it potentially convenient for travelers seeking an overnight stop before or after a flight. For users searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Lester, PA, or greater Philadelphia area, this establishment might surface as a viable option, particularly for those on a tight budget. However, it is crucial for prospective guests to be fully informed about the actual conditions and common experiences reported by past customers.
Based on extensive customer reviews, the prevailing sentiment regarding the environment and accommodations at the Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport is overwhelmingly negative. Multiple accounts describe the rooms as "utterly filthy." Specific concerns include "trash all over the floor, bugs every where, stains on the sheets… just filth every where." One guest reported being switched to five different rooms, all exhibiting similar conditions, and noted that even the connecting Motel 6 next door presented the same issues, suggesting a systemic problem with cleanliness across both properties. The persistent odor is also a significant complaint, with descriptions such as "full of mold, cigarettes and other horrible smells," and one guest even reported becoming sick with symptoms indicative of mold exposure, including a bleeding nose and difficulty breathing. The unpleasant smell of cigarettes is also frequently mentioned, even by guests who did not smoke in the rooms. These descriptions paint a stark picture of an environment that severely lacks basic hygiene and maintenance standards, making it potentially unsuitable for most travelers, especially those with children or allergies.
The reviews strongly indicate that the rooms are not regularly or adequately cleaned. The presence of bugs, stains on bedding, and general debris on the floor points to a severe lapse in housekeeping protocols. The dated nature of the property is also implied through descriptions of the overall condition, which falls far below acceptable standards for even budget-friendly accommodations. The comparison to "very cheap motels by Atlantic City for like $30 a night" that were "absolutely clean" further highlights the severity of the cleanliness issues at this particular Red Carpet Inn location. For any user searching "Hotels Near Of Me" and prioritizing cleanliness, these reports are critical to consider.
While hotels typically offer a range of services such as front desk assistance, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities, the severe issues with room conditions overshadow any potential benefits of such services at the Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport. Guests primarily interacted with the front desk for room changes due to the unacceptable conditions. While one review mentioned that "the service for me wasn’t too much to complain" in terms of getting a room switched, this service was necessitated by the dire state of the initial rooms rather than a proactive or positive guest experience. The core service of providing a clean and safe room appears to be fundamentally compromised.
There is no specific mention of common hotel features such as complimentary breakfast, fitness centers, or business facilities in the provided reviews. Given the focus on the deplorable room conditions, it is reasonable to infer that such amenities, if they exist, are either not a highlight or are overshadowed by the more pressing issues of cleanliness and hygiene. The primary "service" observed by guests seems to be the process of attempting to find a habitable room, often unsuccessfully. The fact that guests resorted to covering furniture with sheets and did not sleep in the rooms they were given further underscores the lack of basic comfort and functionality that any hotel should provide. The inability to deliver a clean environment directly impacts the perceived value and utility of any other services that might be offered.
For individuals utilizing the "Hotels Near Of Me" search function, the Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport might appear as an inexpensive option due to its pricing model, which typically caters to budget travelers. Its location near the Philadelphia Airport could also be a draw for those needing immediate lodging close to the transportation hub. However, based on the unequivocal and consistent customer feedback, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution before booking a stay at this establishment. The reviews unequivocally state that the hotel's fundamental purpose – providing a clean and comfortable place to sleep – is not met.
Promotional messaging for any hotel typically emphasizes comfort, convenience, and value. For the Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport, any such claims would be directly contradicted by the widespread reports of filth, pervasive odors, pest issues, and general disrepair. The severity of the issues, including allergic reactions and difficulty breathing due to mold, indicates significant health and safety concerns. Guests have reported resorting to disputing charges with their banks to get refunds, highlighting the depth of their dissatisfaction. The sentiment "I booked for the location but otherwise go somewhere else!" succinctly captures the critical advice for potential guests.
In summary, while the Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport may appear as a low-cost option near PHL in "Hotels Near Of Me" searches, the overwhelming evidence from customer reviews strongly advises against choosing this establishment. The consistent reports of unsanitary conditions, unpleasant odors, and general neglect far outweigh any potential benefit of its location or price point. Prospective guests are strongly encouraged to seek alternative accommodations that prioritize cleanliness, safety, and basic comfort, even if it means paying a slightly higher price. The potential health risks and extremely unpleasant experience reported by multiple guests make this a facility to approach with extreme caution, if at all.

May 14, 2025 · C IAbsolutely atrocious motel I ever been too. I really don’t like giving bad reviews but this motel has given me reasons. First is their rooms. The smell is full of mold, cigarettes and other horrible smells. The service for me wasn’t too much to complain the first room my dad caught an allergic reaction. The second room was okay but third room they showed us was better, so I thought… Today I woke sick and turns out it’s from mole exposure. My nose was bleeding it was very difficult to breathe and I couldn’t even sleep cause of how difficult it was to inhale air. I’m really sorry to the management but it was a very unpleasant experience.
Apr 22, 2025 · Troy SinghI would not waste anyone’s time here. My company booked me this room cuz my semi truck broke down. Came here girl was nice at check in but the room was gross to me might as well stay at Motel 6 for same price and better rooms it’s in the same lot also. So I didn’t stay in my room or may down it was disgusting mind you I never even stay in hotels like that ever but I didn’t book it my company did. I went to the front told the girls at the desk I’m out of here that I wasn’t staying here and told my company to ask for a refund. As I walked down to motel 6 the manager called the girl down there and told her to give me a room at Motel 6 instead better room than at Red Carpet Inn. So thankful the Manager did that and the girls at the front desk told them I was not staying at the hotel cuz the conditions. Red Carpet inn needs to be renovated badly.
Mar 27, 2025 · Greg PettitBooked on line using the phone number in their adds. They changed my card. They did not honor the booking. Can not find a phone number for the front desk. The booking agency refuses to give me the direct number to the hotel. The email says I must challenge my claim to get my money back.
May 17, 2025 · William MixonComfortable stay with my two children, affordable price, I asked for the room to be clean because i have kids, the room was clean, everyday I get clean towels, and trash bags, pet friendly, heated water and temperature is perfect during winter, microwave to use and vending machines, staff are very friendly and helpful. However internet connection sometimes is weak and that is the only thing that bothers me, I got my own internet as a solution. Overall I am satisfied.
