Rooms was mostly ok, but the light over the tub flickered so bad I couldn't use it and the vanity sink leaked from plumbing or drain beneath all over the cabinet & floor. Otherwise not new or perfect but basically well appointed. Parking was odd, location seems like an old apartment community that was converted to a hotel with separate buildings. The 3 staff members I interacted with were professional and efficient. Location was great for what I needed on this trip.

May 01, 2025 · Christa WilsonEverything was dirty, they tried to force queen sheets on my king size bed, and the tile grout was coming out in the bathroom. Pretty sure there was mold in the bathroom and a bloodstain on the mattress. Never had a hilton brand hotel so dirty and disgusting, and it smelled like something was rotting on the first floor.
May 14, 2025 · Madison SchultzDear Hilton Guest Services, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton near the Hilton Garden Inn in Atlanta. As a lifelong Hilton Honors member and someone who has stayed at Hilton properties since childhood—often at Hampton Inns with my father—this experience was, without question, one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. While I want to begin by saying that the staff were friendly and polite, which I truly appreciated, the facility itself was a terrible shame. The building I was placed in had constant electrical issues—the lights in my room would flicker repeatedly, creating a truly uncomfortable atmosphere. More concerning, I had no hot water for the entire duration of my three-night stay. On the first night, I was so tired that I didn’t fully notice the issue, but by the second night I had to shower at another location due to the total lack of hot water. I was offered the option to move to another room, but I was traveling with a party of eight, including several small children, and the idea of repacking and relocating everything was more than we could manage at that point. The condition of the room itself was unacceptable: The refrigerator was rusted, The stovetop did not work, And while the microwave powered on, it failed to actually heat food. For a Hilton-branded property, this level of disrepair and discomfort is truly disheartening. Again, I want to stress that my disappointment is not with the staff, but with the poor condition of the building and room amenities, which did not meet the standard I’ve come to expect from Hilton over the years. I sincerely hope this message is taken to heart, and that steps will be taken to ensure no other guests go through what we did.
Mar 22, 2025 · Adam ReaWelcome to The Suite Life of Regret & Rust If you’re looking for a hotel experience that slowly erodes your will to live - congrats, you’ve found it. Let me take you on a magical journey through the Homewood Suites: Industrial Neglect Edition. Let’s start with the “adjustable” shower head that’s about as adjustable as my patience after seeing it. It’s frozen in place, covered in rust, and looks like it’s one bad mood away from launching off the wall. Taking a shower here feels like you’re in a time machine set to “dorm room plumbing, 1963.” Transitioning from the room to the kitchenette should not be a contact sport, and yet—this carpet separator death trap is hellbent on puncturing your foot like it’s auditioning for a Saw reboot. Called about it multiple times. A week later? Still there, still stabbing. Maybe it’s a “feature.” Nothing screams “we care about your stay” like a drawer full of forks and knives… and zero spoons. There are bowls in the cupboard. Soups in the fridge. And dreams in my heart. But no spoons. Maybe they expect guests to ladle yogurt with a steak knife. Very rustic. Very primal. Very annoying. Want to wash your hands? Joke’s on you. The bathroom sink’s faucet is shoved so far back you need circus training just to get a full rinse. You get one inch of usable space. One inch. If you’ve got adult hands? Good luck. Hope your fingertips enjoyed that splash. Finally, the couch. Technically a foldout. Realistically a black hole. The center cushion is so sunken you’re involuntarily pulled into its vortex no matter where you sit. It’s like trying to perch on a canoe made of sadness. There is no escape. Only lumbar pain. This place had me longing for the comfort of an airport bench and the structural integrity of a cardboard box. Homewood? More like Home-would-you-please-fix-literally-anything?
Apr 24, 2025 · Brian SAbsolute trash rooms. The fact that this hotel is still allowed to carry the Hilton Brand name is completely beyond me. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY and as helpful as they could be, given what they have to work for. Smelly room, ripped carpet, dirt and other stuff in every crevice and corner, broken ceiling fan and even some blood on the furniture. I've been an Hhonors member for 20-something years and this and this was absolutely THE WORST room experience, ever. Not even going to get into the fact that one of my rooms was given to someone else (I had two booked). I will save that conversation for contacting further up the chain. The only redeeming qualities here were the kind staff and the convenient location to Truist Park.
