We were INCREDIBLY disappointed with our stay. We booked this room for a long needed couples night out. We were attending a concert nearby and chose the facility because of the vicinity to the concert, the property is Marriott owned, and for its many amenities that appealed to us (jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, shuttle to Battery). The FIRST disappointment was the hot tub AND steam room being out of order. This was our first and foremost desire in a property. We really were looking forward to enjoy these specific amenities. The only thing working was the Sauna but took almost 30 minutes just to reach temperature. Had we known this at the time of booking, we’d have booked at another property. Next, to our disappointment, the shuttle to the battery wasn’t running so we had to change our planned attire for our concert to accommodate walking through a parking lot, then a deck, up and down several flights of stairs, just to get to the walkway to the Battery. We knew what the weather was going to be like and had called the property before booking to confirm they had a shuttle and a walkway. I feel like those definitions are a stretch of the truth. Finally, to add insult to all these minor irritations, we had housekeeping walk INTO our room at 9:30, without a knock, while we were fully naked. I remember when this property was the jewel of Atlanta. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were still dated. For the price, I expected FAR better amenities, or at least for the ones that were there to be working.

May 04, 2025 · Heather QuinbyI was staying here for a convention so the hotel was super convenient. It was an amazing stay and it all started at check in with staff member Madison Crawford. She was truly amazing, changing some things around to make my stay just superb. I am a titanium member but I don’t look for or ask for special treatment. She acknowledged my status immediately and made me feel welcome and appreciated. So many kudos to Madison. The room was spacious and clean, the food in the club room was excellent and all the staff were very friendly . The club room was not open over the weekend so we were given complimentary breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby and it was fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Jan 31, 2025 · george beamI didn’t have best experience denied upgrade messaging the hotel on the app was told they hadn’t no upgrades. Got to the hotel asked I was told the last was given out 10 mins ago and the hotel was sold out but the parking lot was pretty empty the whole day. Also, on the app there was an abundance of room available to be booked that day. I know upgrade are not guaranteed as a platinum and above but I felt lied to. When I got to the room, it smelled like something spoiled. My spouse called the front desk and just sprayed. It got chilly in the room so we cut on the hot it ran and ran not heat. Called front desk they told us to let it run another hour then call back if no heat. I called back and they sent maintenance up but it them a hour and half to fix it, which interrupted my plans to leave the hotel to meet family. Not sure if I would stay here again but I would not recommend it.
May 19, 2025 · Dre BClean, comfortable rooms. Visited for a conference. Short walk from room to conference area. It can be a bit noisy especially at night given the layout of the building, but not unbearably loud. During the conference there were numerous A/V glitches and issues - mics that were choppy or just stopped working, things like that. Wasn’t a huge deal but that’s why I’m going 4 stars instead of 5 It’s a short walk from the Battery with the ballpark and tons of bars and restaurants. 30 minute uber from the airport without traffic.
Mar 26, 2025 · Zachary ThompsonI just checked out of my room here this morning. My double queen on the 7th floor was not that bad but here is that part. The bed was a little too form for my liking, the bathroom towels were a bit on the abrasive side of soft, the smart TV was slow to respond to commands from the remote control and the lamp controls (lighting) were all completely different and confusing. Just to nit-pick here (Corporate/Property Management, I'm talking to you), the power outlets throughout the building were installed upside-down, the ground pin is supposed to be on top. Also, the glass-on-stone office desk is a nice touch but is not effective with computer mice, please find a solution and don't presume the next unassuming guest will provide their own. Moving on, the indoor atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. I did not notice any odors, rodents/pests, dirt/dust, fingerprints on reflective surfaces or evidence of bedbugs. The Staff was polite and professional. The first floor/lobby was spacious and clean. I would like to note that I was here for a Convention next door. Amenities. I did not use any of these as I was just here for 1 night, but I did observe their presence. Location. North Atlanta, I like it. The self-parking was a tad confusing and chaotic at times, but the valet staff were very polite and professional, so kudos to them. For the rest of it, I took these photos of my room when I arrived, so check them out. Overall, I'm rating this place 4 out of 5 because it's almost "there". Yes, I do understand that this building has been here for a substantial amount of time, so I did factor that in on this review. I do recommend this location to others.
