This will be long. So here goes. I stayed at the homewood suites /Boston Canton location this past Saturday. We booked for 1 night as we only stayed due to state championship games a mere 15 minutes away so for us it was a great location. When I arrived the front desk person helped us get our room but didn't seem 100 percent friendly. Not a big deal. But when I went to get my 2 dogs a 3 pound chihuahua and a 9 pound maltese, as I was walking in she says you didn't tell me you had 2 dogs in a bad tone of voice. I mentioned I had already marked it when booking online. I just payed 340 dollars for one night. That was with the pet fee included. She wanted to charge me another 75 dollars. Luckily another gentleman was there who explained the policy of 1 to 4 night stay is 75 for 2 dogs. She didn't even know the hotels policy. Then our room keys didn't work so with all our stuff up at the door on the 3rd floor I had to go down and get another key card. The studio-like suite was amazing. It lacks nothing. Stove, refrigerator, microwave, sink, dishwasher and everything you could possibly need. I love homewood suites. My son enjoyed the pool and I did the hot tub. The pool area is a bit small and some guest can be obnoxious but that isn't something the hotel can prevent. Now as for sleep. My son and I had to be up at 5:30 am for our last day at states. It was 2 am and we still hadn't been able to sleep because the neighboring rooms guest left their dog alone all night till the next morning and the dog barked incessantly and intensely all night. The night time front desk person attempted to reach the guest continously to no avail so it never stopped till about 8 or 9 am when that guest returned. We had the worst night we've ever had in any hotel that night. But. The manager the next morning was incredibly kind and listened to every complaint and frustration of mine patiently. Then corrected the wrong by comping our nights stay. The hot delicious breakfast is the best of any hotel. And Ella was extremely attentive. Her sweetness made our whole stay better. I wanted to take her home! ! It was not a great stay but the hotel is great and staff are for the most part great. Comfortable beds too, I just wish I could have gotten good rest on them.

This policy is a huge benefit for travelers who wish to bring their furry companions, although, as one review pointed out, the occasional issue with unattended, barking dogs can occur, which the hotel aims to address.

Mar 23, 2025 · Cenia OteroRoom was good beds could of been better gave back pain in morning lumpy and felt like a spring was broken. Breakfast was good the first night. The pool was good until seemed like a group of basketball players came and ruined it poring drinks in pool and being rude to my children there were no adult supervision. Overall stay was pretty good.
Apr 16, 2025 · Courtney SweetA True Home Away From Home! I recently had the pleasure of staying here from November 30, 2024, to March 2025, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the customer service experience was exceptional. Any concerns I raised were immediately addressed. ***Check-In Process*** The check-in process was seamless and efficient. The front desk greeted me with warm smiles and welcomed me immediately. The staff were attentive, answering all my questions and going above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful stay. *** My Suite*** My suite was beautifully decorated and equipped with all the amenities I could need during my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I slept adequately each night. The spacious suite provided plenty of room to exercise and do my morning ritual. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the staff assisting me with bringing my packages to my room and the kitchen staff saving me food during the weekly manager’s cocktail hour when I worked late. ***Toiletries*** The hotel featured high-quality toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and lotion, that added a nice touch to my stay. *** Facilities*** The hotel’s facilities exceeded my expectations. From the well-maintained fitness center and the relaxing pool area. The pool was a highlight, offering a tranquil atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a long, stressful work day. *** Food*** The breakfast buffet featured many delicious options, including tortillas, chicken tinga, eggs, bacon, chia pudding, overnight oats, and scrumptious Belgian waffles! ***Location*** Located just 20 minutes from Boston, the hotel was convenient for accessing local restaurants and quick grocery deliveries via DoorDash and Ubereats. *** Customer Service*** My stay's standout feature was undoubtedly the team's customer service. They were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. The staff were always friendly and willing to assist me. They definitely made a significant difference in the quality of my stay. I would be remiss if I did not mention the fantastic Homewood Suites team members: Barry, Jamie, Tommie, Orlando, Luis, Luis’ son, Daniella, Ms. Ella, Maryanne, Rebecca, Leah, Anastasia, and Anthony. Those not mentioned above also make the hotel what it is: simply the best in the area. During my stay, when I was feeling unwell, Winnie and the team kindly brought me ice. And, after my father's passing recently, the staff brought me flowers, which was incredibly thoughtful. Having worked half the year in Massachusetts and the other half in Florida for the past four years and stayed in various Hilton properties, I can confidently say that this stay has been the best and most memorable. In summary, my experience at the Homewood Suites by Hilson was exceptional. Whether you’re traveling for leisure or business, this hotel provides a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, excellent location, and outstanding service. I can’t wait to return on my next visit! I genuinely feel like the staff is my extended family. Thanks to all the team members for creating such a welcoming and supportive environment! Book here, this is the best hotel outside of Boston!!! The team is unbeatable and unforgettable!!!
Mar 16, 2025 · Ramona GonzalesClean rooms, good housekeeping and the pool is suitably heated. The staff who helped to manage the breakfast area were so cheerful! Great hotel to stay in Boston. A tad far from downtown, but it’s located in a very safe area. I could run alone early in the morning without issues. Recommended. Thumbs up! Will stay here again when I’m in Boston.
Nov 22, 2024 · Ron YangWe frequently come to Boston to visit family and this place just won our HotelOfFutureBostonStays award. Rooms are large and have fool size kitchen. Most importantly rooms don't have that irritating chemical smell. See you again soon.
