There is parking across the street in a safe Municipal lot for $15.00. We stayed in room 506, the room is very clean very comfortable. We didn't have a blanket for the pull out couch but the front desk was able to accommodate us quickly. The front desk staff was overly friendly. The breakfast buffet was just "okay", you're better off bringing your food to your room and using the microwave to heat it up. The food that should have been very warm was hardly warm. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. We've had several wonderful experiences at Hyatt houses and Hyatt hotels. We will keep coming back and trying other locations.

Feb 01, 2025 · John AndersonI’ll preface that none of my concerns are related to customer service - staff was lovely, and Jeremy at the front desk was very helpful and understanding. Plus, the noise factor is to be expected as part of the urban setting in a busy college town. That said, the traffic signals / walk alerts all night long was a little disruptive to sleep for us suburbanites, and the king suite we had was only available on the section of the floor that was basically right next to the intersection. WiFi was spotty but that also wasn’t staff’s fault or a major issue for our family. The location is super convenient, a nice walk to Giant Eagle to stock up on snacks for our two kids (and drinks for parents). Short drive to Pitt campus and North Shore. Our room was spacious, and beds were relatively comfy by mid-range hotel standards. Pool was heated and nicer than expected. Would probably stay there again but request only a top floor room in the hopes that street noise would be less noticeable.
May 13, 2025 · Courtney SwartzAwoken this morning with a scissor lift blaring an alarm every time it moved. Not sure why the painting contractor chose ~8 am to start this project, but 4+ hours later it's still going off every 5-10 minutes. The room is okay, significant water damage on the bedroom window sill. Paint is fully bubbled and spongy. Pillows and beds are comfortable. The walls are rather thin as we could hear the children playing in the room next door very clearly. The bathroom is okay, the showerhead does not have multiple settings and needs a deep clean to get the lime scale out of the nozzles, has a very good shower curtain that prevents the water that sprays everywhere from getting on the floor. Breakfast was okay, nothing fabulous. Had to ask for plates as they had all been used and not restocked, also had to ask for hot water as the container had been taken to the backroom and not returned. The neighborhood is very nice, there are some good restaurants within 1/2 mile and easily walkable on a nice day.

May 19, 2025 · Martin ManciniHad some issues with the front desk trying to change our reserved room type and rate when we showed up to check in. This process took 30 min at least. Not a great way to welcome guests. However, the bartender was great and food was delicious. Room were a bit tired for the room rate. The sofa and rug need to be updated. Great location.
