We stayed here for a long weekend while visiting family in Pittsburgh. The room was clean and the bathroom/shower were also very clean. The front desk staff and bartender on Friday evening (I don't remember their names) were wonderful. Super friendly and very helpful. We didn't find the parking to be terrible and it was nice to have our car in a parking garage rather than an outside lot. It was too bad the parking wasn't included in the price of the room, but since the hotel doesn't own the garage, that's out of their control, so not their fault. We were still happy to have garage parking. The breakfast was very tasty, as well. The location was great as it was close to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and if/when we get back to Pittsburgh, will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Apr 28, 2025 · Nicole PennWhile front desk service was excellent and the location of this hotel is convenient, our room left a lot to be desired. The trundle bed was filthy and had a dirty sock on it when I pulled it out. Disgusting. There were crumbs everywhere on top of the mattress. The level of dirt was highly unsatisfactory. We had to request sheets and extra blanket to even make the bed, but that should have been automatically provided for the room given that they advertise having a trundle as a sleeping option. The carpeting felt almost damp under your bare feet and there was a smell that I personally found unpleasant and unclean about the room. Not fresh at all. Overall, the split bathroom set-up was strange. The shower and another sink were on the far side of the room while the toilet and a tiny sink were up front. Both had sliding doors which did not provide much privacy. But, my main complaint lies in what I feel was a room that just wasn’t as clean as it could be and for the high cost of the room it should be pristine. We will not be returning.
May 06, 2025 · Jeanne BrignallGreat experience! The lady (Tarina or Torina?) who checked me in was one of the nicest front desk people I've ever met. Most people at the front desk in hotels I've stayed at are short, rude, and essentially ignore people until they feel like taking a customer. So to have such a nice check-in experience really made my night, as well as my whole stay so much better. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The showers were also very clean. Breakfast was satisfying. And the gym was a fantastic deal. The location was great for those who enjoy going out for activities at night while also getting a nice quite sleep at a decent hour. Would definitely stay again, for both business or pleasure.
Apr 09, 2025 · Amina KransonHOUSEKEEPER STOLE MY JACKET! Just 2 hours after I checked out, I returned to the hotel remembering that I had left my jacket in the closet. It was warm during my stay, so I did not use my jacket once — hence, I am 100% certain I left it in that closet. But reception said none of the housekeepers had it with them, and it was no longer in the closet. They said they would keep looking and give me a call if they found it. The stay was fine otherwise, but this experience completely ruined it for me as it was my favorite jacket. Very disappointed. Rating this hotel as 1/5 stars unless they call me after finding the jacket. Also, I developed a pretty bad bronchial infection during my stay. Now looking at other reviews, I see that others have as well.
Apr 23, 2025 · Jackie ParkHad a great visit. Friendly effective front desk staff. Clean spacious and comfortable rooms with a nice desk to work at. Quiet. Good breakfast was included. Bakery Square is lovely with shops and restaurants.
