Had a really comfortable and pleasant stay at Hyatt Place Niagara Falls. The location is fantastic – just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Falls, which made it super easy to explore the area without needing to drive around. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with comfy beds and everything we needed for a good night’s rest. Definitely met the expectations of a Hyatt property. A big shoutout to Andrew at the front desk – he was incredibly helpful and welcoming! Gave us some great tips about the area and made check-in a breeze. It’s always nice to be greeted with such genuine hospitality. The breakfast buffet was just okay – enough to get your day started, but don’t expect anything fancy. May 20, 2025 · Glenn PhillipsMy stay at Hyatt Place Niagara Falls, NY was amazing!!! My favorite person there was Angelo, he goes beyond the call of duty to make sure your stay is pleasant. His unique skills, and attention to detail in communication with the customer need to be rewarded, and was much appreciated. The vibe in this location is real!!!! Staff members Kelsey, Lexi, and Tiffany also added to making my stay memorable. Angelo has a personality that is contagious and that’s why I will definitely come back. Great job 👏🏾
May 11, 2025 · Carolyn PoynerStayed 1 night, to see the Falls, while passing through. Pros: -Great location! 5-10min walk from the Falls and stores. -Friendly and helpful staff, very knowledgeable of the area. -Super clean and comfortable rooms, pool, etc. -Room price is decent, for a tourist location Cons: -The rooms have NO view, so don't waste money on the higher-floor rooms. -Everything cost extra, including the bad breakfast and coffee, and is over-priced. -The only place to open before 11am was 1 gift shop, and almost everything closes by 10pm. -Parking is a block away, and not well marked, when first arriving. -Understaffed. They did great, but struggled to keep up with the groups that came in at a time. 1 more person would help...
May 14, 2025 · Isaac PhillipsThe location is within walking distance of the falls so that was awesome. Parking is across the street in a garage that could use a bit of tlc. The parking system was interesting because they had a ticket that once validated by the hotel allowed you to come and go as you please so that was very nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff did a great job and were very helpful with giving us info on the area, which made things a lot easier.
Apr 13, 2025 · Kendall MurryI'll just start with the big reason for the 1-star, bed bugs. Woke up at 3am to one crawling inches from my eye on the sheets on our second night there. Needless to say, my partner and I were a little upset and we told the desk and checked out early at 4am. We got told at the desk we'd be receiving a full refund and that the manager would call us later that evening. No call came, several days later they sent an email saying they inspected 3 days later and didn't find them so we weren't getting refunded. I sent the photos of our friends below, they didn't respond for a week. When I emailed them a week later saying they didn't seem to care at all, they responded and said they reinspected, still found no bed bugs, and offered some points and a partial refund. I didn't take it, I'd rather warn people that they don't seem to care above the bare minimum. In hospitality, that might seem like something important to me, but what do I know. Here's a breakdown of everything else in case you're concerned: Rooms: Ignoring the bed bugs, they're okay. It had a little dated feeling but for the price, they're alright. Location: Its a rougher area, the parking garage does look like a horror movie set, but good proximity to the falls. Breakfast: It was food, it's okay, very regular fare. Staff: The staff were all super great and friendly, that was a highlight. The gentlemen who checked us out after our "fun" morning incident was super concerned and caring. Pretty bummed that concern doesn't flow up the chain here though. I can't say I recommend this hotel, especially since they didn't find our bed bugs, so they are still definitely there. If you want to gamble for an okay price, I'd just recommend avoiding the 4th floor for now, particularly towards room 401. Good luck.
