We had our wedding here, and it was the absolute best decision we made besides, well, getting married! First and foremost, Todd is an incredible host. He was always quick to answer questions, offer workarounds to last-minute hurdles, and recommend outstanding vendors who were well-suited to the Inn! Second, the rooms and common areas were beautiful. The moment you walk through the big front doors, there is an undeniable wow factor. There was not a single guest at our wedding who was not charmed by the accommodations. Third, the beds were super comfortable—which can not be undervalued when sharing an entire inn with your nearest and dearest for a few days. And last but not least, it was the perfect backdrop to the perfect day. What made the most significant difference was that Todd was right there to ensure the event went as smoothly as possible and that we and our vendors had everything we needed to succeed. If you are considering booking the Inn at the Old Jail for your small wedding (or any other event!), do not hesitate!!! It's gorgeously decorated, chock full of history, and run by the most accommodating, kind, and amusing person I've met in the hospitality industry. He even saved my wedding shoes from certain demise when bad weather caused shipping delays. Seriously, Todd's a god among men. I would give the Inn at the Old Jail 10 stars, but Google's 5 will have to suffice. There are not enough thanks we can extend to Todd for ensuring we had an even cooler wedding than we could have imagined!

Feb 03, 2025 · M. StangThe hotel has been impeccably restored and authentically restored down to the furniture and even the finest detail. The generous owner was very gregarious and made us feel as if we were at home during our stay. The room and bathroom were in immaculate condition and the bed was comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again
May 23, 2025 · Jason onealOur experience at “The Old Jail” ranks up there with some of the best we’ve had in NOLA. Authentic New Orleans hospitality, complete with an impromptu jazz session with some neighbors of the super cool Treme neighborhood. Todd is the consummate host, with a local’s repertoire of great recommendations of places to eat, things to do and music to hear. Can’t wait to make our return to this very special treasure of New Orleans ✨
Apr 22, 2025 · Eltiena CampbellMy husband and I just got back from a wonderful long weekend in New Orleans with lifelong friends. Great sightseeing - town tour, WWII museum, trip to the Whitney plantation, to name a few, as well as delicious food. However, ranking up there with the top of the list was The Inn at the Old Jail in the Treme neighborhood. It had everything - character, style, great rooms with comfortable beds, rooftop deck, and great open places to hang out and relax (including a pool table). Most of all, the owner, Todd, was the consummate host. We all had fun talking with him and learned so much about Treme and New Orleans. His style in designing the place was beyond amazing. It was quite an interesting museum, with fascinating art, pictures and artifacts. I know we will come back someday. This is one of those niche hotels you SHOULDN'T miss!!!
Apr 03, 2025 · Debbie LedbetterMy husband and I very recently celebrated our wedding at Inn at the Old Jail and it was the perfect place to host an event of size and uniqueness and Todd, the owner, helped our stay and party go off without a hitch. Definitely add this location to your list of must-stay properties in New Orleans and you will not be disappointed.
