We had a lovely experience here; however, my group all rented cabins from Laurel Run and my friends are seven minutes down the road at the main Laurel Run which is off the highway and features a more campground type feel. This is a single house on a small, winding road overlooking the river on one side and cows on the other. We actually love it, but if you're trying to book as a group and stay together, this is the secluded one! Dog friendly.

Unlike a typical hotel, Laurel Run Cabin offers a unique, private home experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of our beloved Commonwealth.
This isn't a bustling resort or a sprawling campground, but rather a charming, secluded single house, offering a truly personal escape. It’s perfect for those who cherish privacy, the soothing sounds of a flowing river, and the gentle presence of nature. Whether you're planning a solo adventure, a romantic getaway, or a trip with close friends and your furry companions, Laurel Run Cabin provides a cozy and well-equipped base for exploring the renowned outdoor attractions of the region.
Laurel Run Cabin is nestled at 21931 Alvarado Rd, Damascus, VA 24236, USA. This address points to a truly special spot in Damascus, often referred to as "Trail Town USA." While some Laurel Run properties might have a more campground feel closer to the main highway, this particular cabin offers a distinctly secluded experience. It's located on a small, winding road, providing that desired sense of escape from the everyday.
Its unique position offers picturesque views, overlooking a river on one side and tranquil pastures with cows on the other. While it's wonderfully secluded, it's not entirely isolated. Damascus is well-known as a hub for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those interested in the Virginia Creeper Trail and the Appalachian Trail. While you might be a short drive (around seven minutes, according to a review) from other Laurel Run properties or the main downtown area of Damascus, this seclusion is precisely its charm for many guests. Its peaceful setting makes it an ideal launchpad for local adventures, allowing you to easily access trails and natural attractions while returning to a private sanctuary. Don't worry about getting lost; the property contact, Trudy, has been praised for her excellent guidance in helping guests navigate to this hidden gem.

As Laurel Run Cabin operates more as a vacation rental property than a traditional hotel, specific "promotions" in the conventional sense (like loyalty programs or corporate rates) may be less common. However, you might find value through:
Seasonal Booking Windows: Availability might open up or close off at certain times, with popular dates like "Trail Days" or Memorial Day weekends booking far in advance. Booking outside of peak seasons might offer more flexibility.
Direct Booking Advantages: Sometimes, booking directly through Laurel Run Cabins (rather than third-party sites) can offer the best rates or access to more specific cabin details.
Longer Stay Benefits: While not explicitly a "discount," the cabin's nature encourages longer stays with its full amenities, which inherently offers better value than nightly hotel rates over time.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on availability and pricing, it's always best to contact Laurel Run Cabin directly using the provided contact details.
