There are roaches in the rooms. Had to buy raid and treat room every other day for 5 days and spot treatments every every 4 days. The customer service has a awful here. The clerks give poor customer service. The maintenance guys don’t speak English, very broken. I told the front office about fixing my toilet, they dragged their feet about getting it done. Code inspector happen to be out I stopped her becuz my toilet was not fixed. I was having to plunge toilet each time I used it. This is past ridiculous. Now around 927pm I went to a store a block away from my room and returned in 10 minutes to find a paper taped on the door threatening me with a fine. Nothing was checked on it saying why.At the bottom it said this is only a warning. But for what? This is harassment. They also have a no refund policy. So therefore if I leave before my time is up I will loose money. This is no place to be.

This ensures that guests can stay connected for work, maintain communication with family and friends, and access entertainment without incurring additional costs. Additional amenities mentioned include a terrace, providing an outdoor space for relaxation, and concierge services, suggesting that guest assistance and local information are available. The concept of extended stay hotels often implies rooms that are more spacious than typical hotel rooms, possibly featuring separate living and sleeping areas to enhance comfort during a longer stay. The hotel's policy regarding non-smoking rooms, with designated outdoor smoking areas equipped with cigarette canisters, indicates an effort to maintain a pleasant and healthy indoor environment for all guests.
When considering Live In Lodge Extended Stay Riverdale, potential guests should carefully review the experiences shared by previous customers, as these provide practical insights into what to expect. The feedback available paints a mixed picture, highlighting both positive aspects and significant areas of concern.
Several guests have reported considerable challenges. A frequently cited issue is the presence of pests, specifically roaches, with some guests feeling compelled to purchase and apply their own pest control products regularly. This indicates a potential area for improvement in the hotel’s maintenance and pest management protocols. Another major concern revolves around customer service. Descriptors such as "awful" and "poor customer service" for front desk clerks, along with reports of language barriers with maintenance staff making communication difficult, suggest inconsistencies in guest support and problem resolution. Delays in addressing maintenance requests, like a broken toilet, have also been a point of frustration, with one guest even resorting to involving a code inspector due to the lack of resolution.
Furthermore, the hotel's "no refund policy" can be a significant drawback for guests whose plans might change, potentially leading to financial loss if they need to check out early. Reports of seemingly arbitrary warnings and threats of fines, without clear justification, have also contributed to a feeling of harassment and lack of transparency for some individuals, making their stay uncomfortable and uncertain.
On the other hand, some guests have had more favorable experiences. One guest, who stayed for three months, expressed overall satisfaction, noting the absence of bugs in their room and receiving housekeeping services, which suggests that cleanliness levels might vary or have improved. This guest also appreciated the strict non-smoking policy within the rooms. They reported no issues with the office staff and acknowledged that the hotel has clear rules and regulations that guests are expected to follow. This perspective implies that for guests who are aware of and adhere to the hotel's policies, the experience can be positive. However, even this positive account was followed by a negative experience where the guest was permanently evicted due to a dispute over blinds they claimed were broken upon move-in, illustrating potential difficulties in dispute resolution.
The contrasting reviews underscore the importance for prospective guests to carefully weigh these different experiences. It is advisable to go in with realistic expectations, particularly for an extended stay option that may prioritize functionality and affordability. Being proactive in communicating any issues and understanding all policies upfront can help mitigate potential frustrations.
While specific current promotional offers for Live In Lodge Extended Stay Riverdale are not provided in the given information, extended stay hotels commonly offer discounted rates for longer booking durations, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly rates that are more cost-effective than daily rates. To obtain the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, availability, and information on any special offers or packages, it is highly recommended that interested individuals contact the hotel directly. Guests should call (770) 997-0100 or +1 770-997-0100 to discuss their specific extended stay needs. It is also crucial to explicitly confirm all hotel policies, including the "no refund policy," pet fees, and procedures for addressing any concerns or maintenance issues, before finalizing a reservation. Feb 26, 2025 · Carla BaileyI stayed here 3 months in room 130 and I loved it unfortunately due to finances we eventually had to leave, but after a certain time we were allowed to get our things I’m going back as soon as possible it’s a business that is written like any other and I must say things have changed because I did not have bugs upon the fact that I constantly clean anyway I received housekeeping, and I love the fact that you are not allowed to smoke in the rooms they have little cigarette canisters beside the doors. I had no problem with the office staff. It is what it is there are rules or regulation of which they Have to follow and they are clear to you upon moving in just as anywhere else that you stay I would like to thank them for the generosity and I’ll be back in about two weeks and as I returned got put out permanently cause they wanted me to pay for blinds I told them that were broken when I moved in and that if I had to pay I would take legal action they said ok no change if blinds I was okay then 3days later I’m not allowed to to stay there anymore there were roaches everywhere in this building and the girl in the office is very rude and they don’t care
Mar 04, 2025 · dedra hamptonI enjoyed staying out there but the front office girls are so rude and disrespectful everybody except the little Mexican girl with the glasses she’s about 4 foot. She is so nice polite, and pleasant to deal with.
Jan 02, 2025 · DarnellWas about to purchase a room for me and my family but reading the reviews and the way the staff responded back with the clap back and which I believe was unnecessary and shows how they really cared about their customers was a turn off all itself. If this is how you treat your guests and you clap back with bad attitudes or remarks shows that you really don’t value your guests. I don’t care if God himself owns them show compassion instead of insulting guests because they leave a bad review.Best response is Thank you and good luck on your next chapter in life, should be the best response back ever thing else is unnecessary.Just know you can’t please everyone, but showing compassion always doesn’t mean everyone wants to live rent free because we all go through hard times in life. No matter what color or race you are. But yeah the reviews and the owners response back turned me away from this extended stay hotel or lodge.
Sep 23, 2024 · Lamar SpanI have been in many hotels in my lifetime, and this is by far the worst. I would have preferred sleeping in my car under a freeway to this abomination. Everything was covered in such grime that the hotel could be considered its own ecosystem. The walls are incredibly thin, which wouldn't be a problem if there weren't constant disputes between other guests. Staff and police were there on multiple occasions. The head staff were incredibly rude and dismissive throughout my entire stay with every single thing that came up, a complaint shared with almost everyone who has stayed here. Simple tasks are too much for them to handle. I would not stay here even if I was paid to. Nights spent at this hotel were the most uncomfortable and unnerving experiences I have had in my entire life. Find anywhere else to stay if you care about being clean and feeling secure.
