2395 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10468, USA
A basic hotel room. Coffee and a small fridge in the room. Would not recommend their breakfast. For the prices, you could go get authentic NY food on any corner. Their food is mostly frozen and heated in a microwave. Paid $15 for an egg sandwich that was practically inedible. The shower/tub was very slippery as well. Had to hold on to things to not slip. Location is awesome. Short walk to many, many great locations, including tourists areas. Housekeeping was great. I would definitely recommend the hotel itself based on the location.

This central position offers guests unparalleled access to a multitude of "great locations, including tourist areas." It's an ideal base for exploring some of the Bronx's most significant landmarks. Fordham University and the world-renowned Bronx Zoo are within a short walking distance or very brief drive, making it highly convenient for visiting families, prospective students, academics, or tourists. As a SpringHill Suites property, the hotel is an all-suite establishment, which means each room offers more space and typically includes a separate living area. The services and features are designed to enhance comfort and provide a more residential feel, even for short visits:
All-Suite Accommodation: Each room is a suite, providing guests with extra space beyond a basic hotel room. This often includes a sleeping area and a separate living area, offering more comfort and functionality. Room types typically include studios with King or Double beds.
In-Room Amenities: Basic room amenities confirmed by a reviewer include a coffee maker and a small fridge. Each suite generally includes a microwave, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, an iron/ironing board, a desk with a laptop workspace, and an in-room safe. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
Complimentary Breakfast: The hotel offers a daily complimentary breakfast. However, an objective introduction must incorporate customer feedback, which in this case advises against it. One reviewer stated, "Would not recommend their breakfast. For the prices, you could go get authentic NY food on any corner. Their food is mostly frozen and heated in a microwave. Paid $15 for an egg sandwich that was practically inedible." This suggests that while complimentary, the breakfast quality may not meet all guest expectations, and guests might prefer to explore local dining options instead.
Parking: The hotel offers valet parking service. While one review mentions that parking is "a little pricey," it is deemed "worth it with valets service all day in and out." The efficiency is noted, with cars typically arriving "within 10 minutes" after calling valet service. This convenience is a significant advantage in a dense urban area like the Bronx where parking can be challenging.
Smooth Check-in: Guests report a "very smooth" check-in process, indicating efficiency and good service at the front desk. IDs are required for check-in.
Housekeeping: The housekeeping service receives positive feedback, with one guest stating it was "great." This implies that rooms are well-maintained and clean.
Complimentary Toiletries/Essentials: One reviewer mentions "don’t forget to claim complementary Dental and shaving kit also small water bottles" during check-in, indicating that these useful items are available upon request.
Interior Design: One review highlights "beautiful interior," suggesting that the hotel provides a pleasant and aesthetically pleasing environment in its common areas and potentially rooms.
Fitness Center: A fitness center is typically available, equipped with various machines for guests to maintain their exercise routines.
24-Hour Front Desk: The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk, ensuring assistance is always available for guests.
Business Services: A business center with internet-enabled computer workstations is generally provided, and meeting rooms may also be available.
Pet-Friendly: While not explicitly stated for this particular SpringHill Suites, many within the brand are pet-friendly, though specific policies and fees should always be confirmed directly with the hotel.
Areas for potential improvement or consideration, based on customer feedback, include the quality of the in-house breakfast and a specific safety concern: "The shower/tub was very slippery as well. Had to hold on to things to not slip." This suggests a need for enhanced safety measures in the bathrooms, such as bath mats or non-slip surfaces, which prospective guests with mobility concerns should note.

Oct 04, 2024 · Muhammad KhudaiI transferred 150,000 points to BonVoy not realizing that their point system is a rip off. I would never use BonVoy after they ripped off when I booked six nights in Vancouver for a two star hotel at $450 a night! Vancouver, Canada
Oct 15, 2024 · soheila nasriBeen here for some time and only two people actually come to work to fulfill their responsibilities. Housing specialist schedules appointment for the books but doesn’t actually meet with residents for any opportunities of finding their own establishment. Majority of the staff that actually can provide services are over whelmed and don’t want to connect . Staff that works evening and weekend let the building run wild . Transitional residents party all week with Music blasting all weekend , herbal fumes the air all weekend and staff smokes . In the lobby area . There’s no real structure it’s all just unnecessary paperwork.
