My wife and I just stayed at the Marriott Melville and we had a fantastic experience. After a long 5 hour drive, we were greeted by Anerva at the front desk, hahaha that young lady was super friendly and had a great smile. She really made us feel welcome right away. Noticing we looked tired and thirsty, she offered us water and brought it to us before we even had to ask, which was such a thoughtful and attentive gesture. The check-in was quick and easy, and the room was spotless when we got in. It was clear the staff really takes pride in making sure everything’s just right for guests. We felt at home the entire time. We also had a chance to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Overall, the service was amazing, the food was fantastic, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area for first time like us!

May 01, 2025 · Mr. BeildI had a room block here for my wedding this past October. I worked with Linda who was fantastic. She was very responsive and helped with anything I needed. Communication was great leading up to my wedding day. The rooms were clean and the bartender in the lobby was very nice when we went to the bar after the reception. A couple of issues I had: I had the executive suite booked and was told they can bring up chairs and mirrors for getting ready but that wasn’t in the room upon arrival. Since it was a weekend, there was no one on staff that was helpful. I even called 3 times the morning of my wedding to see if they would simply be able to bring 1 chair to the suite. They said yes each time I called but no one ever arrived. I would make sure you triple confirm anything needed during the week when the proper staff is working to avoid this. The bigger issue is that guests checking into the hotel were given our room number and key for the suite we had booked and were already checked into. They had a regular room booked, so I’m not sure how they were given a key to a suite, much less one that was unavailable. Thankfully, those guests realized the room was being occupied once they saw our personal belongings and addressed it with the front desk. The last thing I wanted to worry about on my wedding day is getting items taken from the room due to a hotel error.
Apr 29, 2025 · Nicole RiveraMixed experience for my family and me. Upon arrival, my wife noticed that they had charged us twice for our booking. Even after clarifying details with the front desk, they gave us a hard time about what the rate we would pay. The location and facility were decent. It would be nicer if there was a microwave on each floor, but they just have one located in the concession area. Fellow travelers were also frustrated with this inconvenience. The rooms are arranged in a bizarre manner. If you don’t have a room with an outside view, the windows open up to the hall. It was very strange to have people passing by able to see into your room if you just want to draw the curtains for some additional lighting. When we checked out, no trolleys were available. We asked for one from their storage, which should have been an easy accommodation. Instead, we were given a condescending response. They said they were withholding them due to other guests we were traveling with keeping them in use….which has nothing to do with us. Major fail when your entire business is hospitality and service. The one bright spot during the visit was a very attentive and helpful bellhop who was always available and ready to assist. He alone made the stay tolerable, and deserves recognition for making our stay just a bit more tolerable.
Jan 01, 2025 · Umar MasoodThis review is based on the excellent experience that I had with this hotel. The room was fair, but the staff was exceptionally wonderful! We arrived on Friday for a Bar Mitzvah for a friend’s Grandson. The manager Walid Awad helped us find a box that was moved by staff to a closet. He was very helpful and I knew it would turn up. The Catering manager Debbie Schmidt was awesome! Steven at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! All in all I loved the way they all took care of our rooms and everything that went along with our party! Kudos to the hiring manager because everyone including the cleaning people were wonderful!
Apr 08, 2025 · June FeigelmanIt feels like an office building that got converted into a hotel. There's a really nice pool and the service was EXCELLENT. There was some obvious deferred maintenance, especially the locks. They needed to be updated, and according to the concierge they were scheduled to be soon. The food in the restaurant was okay. I'd recommend going out for meals. There's plenty of good places to eat a short drive away. The one real travesty was the pizza. It was worse than high school cafeteria pizza. Frozen pizza from Costco would have been better. How do you serve pizza THAT BAD in New York?!
