Oops, I should have read the reviews.... Learn from me, stay somewhere else馃槄 I stayed with the family for 3 nights. The view of the runway was super cool but that was the only good feature. The two bed suite was large enough but not well furnished. It's like they tried to renovate the hotel but only the floors and the walls. I can't even say with 100% the carpets in the stairs were replaced as it stank of animal urine, all three days. The staff was decent. Helped us get checked in and even brought us more coffee when we requested it. The photo of the luggage cart gives you an idea on the overall cleanliness of the facility. Spend your money elsewhere. Maybe across the parking lot at the courtyard lol

Let's delve into the specific environment, services, features, and some promotional aspects of TownePlace Suites Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale, based on publicly available information and customer feedback.
Environment:
The TownePlace Suites Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale is strategically located near Republic Airport (FRG), which makes it a notable choice for travelers flying in or out of this regional airport. One of the unique environmental features highlighted by guests is the "super cool" view of the runway, which can be an interesting experience for aviation enthusiasts or simply a unique backdrop for your stay. However, this proximity to the airport also implies a certain level of ambient noise, though the extent of this impact on guest comfort is subjective. The hotel's location within a Marriott Plaza suggests a potentially well-maintained, commercial area, typical of hotel clusters. It's situated in Farmingdale, NY, a town in Suffolk County, Long Island, known for its suburban character and various local businesses. The surrounding area offers accessibility to major roadways, which is beneficial for guests exploring Long Island. While specific details on exterior landscaping or common outdoor areas are not extensively available, the brand generally aims for a clean and presentable exterior.
Services:
As a Marriott brand, TownePlace Suites typically offers a range of services designed to enhance the guest experience, particularly for extended stays. Common services include complimentary Wi-Fi, laundry facilities (often self-service), and a fitness center. Many TownePlace Suites properties also offer a complimentary breakfast, which is a significant amenity for guests, especially those staying for several days. Specific to this location, guest reviews indicate that the staff provides decent service. For instance, staff members have been noted for being helpful with check-in and accommodating requests like bringing extra coffee. The front desk staff, in particular, has received positive remarks for being "very nice and helpful." These interactions suggest a generally attentive and responsive team, aiming to address guest needs during their stay. However, without official confirmation of all available services, it's advisable for potential guests to inquire directly about specific offerings such as shuttle services to the airport, grocery shopping services (common at extended-stay properties), or meeting facilities, if these are important for their visit.
Features:
The core feature of TownePlace Suites is its suite-style accommodations. The mention of a "two bed suite" being "large enough" by a guest confirms the presence of these spacious units, which typically include separate sleeping areas and a living space. A hallmark feature of TownePlace Suites is the fully equipped kitchen within each suite, usually comprising a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and dishwasher, along with cookware and dishes. This feature is invaluable for extended-stay guests, allowing them to prepare their own meals and reduce dining expenses. The concept of "home away from home" is central to the brand's appeal. Regarding the internal condition of the hotel, guest feedback suggests that while efforts have been made to renovate the floors and walls, the furnishing might not have been fully updated to match. A significant point of concern raised by guests is the cleanliness in certain areas, with one review specifically mentioning an odor of animal urine in the stairwell, and a photograph of a luggage cart indicating general cleanliness issues. Another critical feature-related point is the soundproofing, with one guest reporting "paper thin" walls and disruptive noise from neighboring rooms. The availability of hot water in showers has also been a point of negative feedback. On the positive side, the view of the runway stands out as a unique and enjoyable feature for some guests.
Promotional Information:
While specific current promotional offers are not available from the provided information, TownePlace Suites properties frequently run promotions designed to attract extended-stay guests, business travelers, and families. These can include discounted rates for longer stays, loyalty program benefits (Marriott Bonvoy points), special packages for local attractions, or seasonal discounts. When looking for "Hotels Near Of Me" on platforms that list TownePlace Suites Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale, potential guests might find various booking incentives. The appeal of a full kitchen and spacious suites is a constant promotional point for the brand, emphasizing cost savings on dining and greater comfort than a standard hotel room. Given its proximity to Republic Airport, the hotel may also target travelers with early morning flights or late arrivals, positioning itself as a convenient stay. However, based on the customer reviews provided, any promotional message from the hotel should also address the concerns raised about cleanliness, noise insulation, and hot water availability to provide a transparent and reassuring experience for potential guests. Prospective guests are always encouraged to check the official Marriott website or contact the hotel directly for the most up-to-date promotional offers and to confirm specific amenities and services, especially in light of the varied guest experiences. It is always wise to compare current reviews with the hotel's self-promotion to make an informed decision.

Mar 19, 2025 路 Kevin TaborThe walls are paper thin, and my neighbors phone conversation kept me up all night. In the AM, the shower had no hot water. Would never return. On the positive, the front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
Mar 30, 2025 路 David GThis place is horrible. Do NOT stay here. I am a loyal Marriott customer and I can鈥檛 believe the quality of this property. I don鈥檛 understand how it has over 4 stars on both the Marriott app and google. They have to be fake/paid reviews. Listen to the one stars. I stayed here two nights and I had to switch rooms in the middle of the first night because of very loud noises coming from the outside like metal screeching against the building or something. The heating unit was very loud so I called the front desk and they sent maintenance, who switched the circuit breaker in the room to off, which fixed it (just meant I had no heat). There is a terrible musty, smoky smell in the hallways being covered up by some disgusting cleaner. The place has a lot of long term tenants who play loud music. The shower took a while to warm up but it got warm (not hot) and the faucet in the sink was ice cold (I ran it for 10 minutes). There is fake hardwood throughout and cheap college dorm furniture. The place is not clean and I could not wait to check out. I didn鈥檛 even attempt the free breakfast because it wasn鈥檛 worth being in the hotel any longer than I needed to. The staff was courteous but the property needs to be condemned. Marriott disassociate from this property or put some serious money into it. Reminded me of a motel in a seedy part of town.
Jan 20, 2025 路 Mathew HookerRooms were freshly painted, had to endure the smell of paint all night, other than that it was a great experience, rooms were clean and sheets cleaned , carpet was vacuumed and towels were cleaned, free bottles of water were offered upon arrival and breakfast in the morning. Billing issue was resolved promptly upon checkout and refund issued to card for over charges.
Feb 19, 2025 路 kay allenThis hotel did not live up to my expectations for a Marriot property. It was dingy, the floors were shabby, the rooms were sparsely and uncomfortably furnished with old furniture that needed replacing. The TV remote in our room was physically broken. The representative at the service desk was very nice. Breakfast was fine. It was kind of neat being right next to the airport, but I鈥檓 an early riser so I can see how this could also be seen as a negative. The large suite sizes were also great for our family.
