I mean this is never your first choice. But when our flight was delayed at 1230a and rescheduled for early in the morning making the hotel voucher silly with transit and security times and we were desperate we paid $340 for 5 hours. Well actually we paid for 5.5 but the staff person told us the wrong checkout time and there was no confirmation email and in my exhausted state of don't notice until now. Is it comfortable? Not really. Is it quiet? Not particularly. Is it dark? Yea. Better than the terminal floor? Also yes. Delta is reimbursing for half of it.
Within the unique "Hotels Near Of Me" category for travelers experiencing layovers, flight delays, or needing a quick rest between flights, Minute Suites - ATL B24 stands as a distinctive offering. Located directly within Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), specifically near Gate B24 in Concourse B at 6000 N Terminal Rd, Atlanta, GA 30320, USA, Minute Suites provides private, compact rooms designed for short-term rental. It serves as a practical solution for those seeking a more comfortable and private alternative to waiting in the busy airport terminal.
The primary environment of Minute Suites - ATL B24 is, by its very nature, the bustling interior of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Its placement within Concourse B means it is directly accessible to travelers who have passed through security, eliminating the need to re-enter security checkpoints or venture outside the airport. This is a significant convenience for passengers with tight connections, long layovers, or unexpected delays. The immediate surroundings are typical of an airport concourse, with gates, retail shops, and dining establishments nearby. While the concourse itself can be noisy with announcements and passenger traffic, Minute Suites aims to provide a retreat from this external environment. The benefit of being "near B24, Concourse B" is immediate access to the services of the airport while offering a designated, private space for rest. However, as some reviews indicate, despite being a private space, ambient noise from the airport, including the AC system, can still be a factor, suggesting that while it's better than the open terminal, it may not be completely soundproof.
Minute Suites are essentially micro-hotel rooms, or "sleep pods," designed for short, hourly rentals, with a typical minimum stay of one hour and increasing in increments thereafter. The core feature of each suite is a private, enclosed space that offers a temporary sanctuary from the airport environment. Each suite is typically equipped with a comfortable daybed, which can also function as a sofa, suitable for a single traveler or a couple. For work or entertainment, the suites usually include a flat-screen television with access to DirecTV and complimentary Wi-Fi, allowing guests to stay connected or pass the time. Other standard amenities typically found within the suites include a desk with a work chair, and climate control to adjust the room temperature to personal preference. A key feature is the ability to control the lighting, allowing guests to create a dark environment conducive to rest, which is often a significant improvement over the bright airport terminal. While bathrooms are not en-suite, the facility typically offers a private shower facility that can be used for an additional fee, a valuable amenity for long-haul travelers needing to freshen up. The emphasis is on functionality and providing essential comforts within a compact space.
Customer experiences at Minute Suites - ATL B24, as indicated by the provided reviews, are quite mixed, often balancing the inherent convenience against perceived value and comfort levels. The primary advantage highlighted by users is the ability to escape the terminal floor during long delays or layovers, providing a private and dark space for rest. This is particularly valued when traditional hotel vouchers are impractical due to transit and security times. The staff is sometimes described as nonchalant, which can be perceived negatively, especially during stressful situations like unexpected fire alarms, as noted in one review. There are mentions of staff providing incorrect checkout times, which can lead to confusion or unintended overcharges. The comfort level of the bed is a point of contention, with one reviewer describing it as "hard as a rock" with "thin blankets and two pillows," leading to discomfort for an overnight stay. Noise levels are also a significant concern, with guests reporting that they can "hear EVERYTHING," including the AC system and external airport sounds, which can disrupt sleep, even with noise-canceling headphones. The overall sentiment regarding value for money is also mixed, with some guests finding the hourly rates, especially for extended periods, to be expensive for the experience offered, even when compared to potentially leaving the airport for a traditional hotel. While it's seen as a "better than the terminal floor" option, it is often considered a last resort rather than a first choice, especially given the cost for the level of comfort and quiet provided.
Minute Suites - ATL B24 is fundamentally a service sold on an hourly basis, with rates typically starting at a minimum of one hour and increasing with each additional hour. While specific hourly rates are not provided in the prompt, one review mentions paying "$340 for 5 hours," indicating that prices can be substantial, especially for longer durations. The first hour is generally the most expensive, with subsequent hours being progressively cheaper. They often offer special rates for longer blocks, such as 5-hour or 8-hour bundles, which can be more cost-effective than paying by the hour individually. Given its unique service, Minute Suites doesn't typically engage in traditional hotel promotions like loyalty programs or seasonal discounts, though group rates or corporate agreements might be available for frequent travelers. Guests can inquire about current pricing and availability by contacting Minute Suites - ATL B24 directly at (404) 975-3941 or +1 404-975-3941. Due to the high cost and mixed reviews on comfort and quietness, prospective users are strongly advised to consider their specific needs and budget. It is recommended to clarify the exact pricing structure for their intended duration and to inquire about the availability of showers if that amenity is desired. While it offers a distinct advantage over sleeping in the open terminal, managing expectations regarding noise insulation and bed comfort is crucial for a satisfactory experience.

May 12, 2025 · Emily WilsonHorrible experience. Rooms are overrated and expensive for the experience we had. The bed is hard as a rock. They give you 2 pillows and thin blankets. You are spending over $200 for an overnight stay, you should at least have comfortable sleeping accommodations. The fire alarm is flashing at 3am which cause a panic. When you go see about it, staff is nonchalant about it. You can hear EVERYTHING, including the AC system. Thank God, I had my noise cancelling headphones. I came here for a peaceful night, but NEVER AGAIN. I wholeheartedly, DO NOT RECOMMEND Minute Suites. Take your chances with sleeping in the terminals or leaving the airport and finding a cheaper and more comfortable experience.
Mar 31, 2025 · Shanette MendezI had a fantastic stay at Minute Suites near ATL B24 today. Kathy at the front desk was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable experience. She helped me reserve my time slot, prepared and cleaned the room, and made sure everything was perfectly set up for my visit. Kathy's warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and respected throughout my stay.
Dec 25, 2024 · Zhe HuangWe walked up after our flight cancelled after substantial delays at 1:45a - online showed availability but not able to complete booking. We waited for 10+ mins for the worker. She waved us off saying it was “full” then told us the MinuteSuites in F was available but we needed to reserve online & pointed us to QR code. Again, this QR code showed availability at the location we were standing in front of… so we asked. She rudely answered that the app wasn’t up to date, they were “closed” and it wasn’t her problem. I asked for her to clarify whether they were full or closed & how we were supposed to book if the app wasn’t up to date & she waved us away. Terribly managed & serviced.
