Zero Stars!!!DONT DO IT! If you are over 5’tall the sofa bed will not accommodate you. Spent $300 for an overnight stay and did not get 1 minute of sleep. My feet were hanging off one end and my head hanging off the other. The bathroom is shared. Another guest kept urinating on the floor. I refused to step in someone else waste. I should have been offered an overnight rate and given a tour before booking. If I had seen the accommodations I would have gotten a hotel room near the airport. Keep your money if you will need to SLEEP comfortably. I’ve emailed the company and have not heard anything back about my concerns. Inadequate and overrated.
For travelers at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" but preferring to stay within the secure terminal area for short rest periods or work, Minute Suites ATL - Concourse T offers a distinct alternative to traditional off-airport hotels. Located at 6000 N Terminal Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30320, USA, this establishment operates on a micro-hotel concept, providing private, compact suites for hourly rentals, primarily catering to those with long layovers, flight delays, or a need for a quiet space between flights. It's important to note that while the original Concourse T location was slated for relocation to Concourse D due to TSA expansion efforts, Minute Suites maintains multiple locations within ATL (Concourse B, E, and F) offering similar services. This introduction will focus on the general Minute Suites experience within ATL, incorporating feedback from actual customers.
The environment of Minute Suites is fundamentally different from a conventional hotel. These are "micro-hotels" or "private rooms" situated directly within the airport concourses, specifically designed for short-term use. The primary appeal of the environment is privacy and quiet amidst the bustling airport. Each suite aims to be a "calm oasis" or "private retreat." While the concept promises a clean and sanitized space, customer reviews offer a mixed perspective. One reviewer described a room as "inadequate and overrated," noting that a "previous customer’s black lace lingerie was left on the desk chair" in a different Minute Suites location, indicating potential inconsistencies in cleanliness. Another review specifically for an ATL location mentioned a "flickering light" in their assigned room. However, Minute Suites states it was "founded by physicians" and adheres to "hospital-grade cleaning products" and procedures. The rooms are generally small and functional, with a "bare bones" aesthetic, as one guest described it, sometimes feeling "sterile" or "like being at a doctor's office" rather than a luxurious retreat.
The services offered by Minute Suites are tailored for convenience within the airport. They provide 24-hour access, allowing flexibility for travelers regardless of their flight schedule. Each suite comes with a daybed sofa, fresh pillows, and blankets (though some guests reported not being offered them or finding them musty), a workstation, outlets, charging stations, a high-definition television with DirecTV and Netflix, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. A "sound masking system" is integrated to reduce airport noise. However, it's critical to understand the limitations regarding bathrooms. Most Minute Suites locations, including the one mentioned, feature *shared* bathrooms, not private en-suite facilities. This was a significant point of contention for one customer who encountered "another guest kept urinating on the floor" and refused to use the restroom due to someone else's "waste." This shared bathroom arrangement is a major distinction from traditional hotels and a key consideration for potential users. Shower facilities are available at specific ATL Minute Suites locations (e.g., Concourse E and Concourse B24) but often require an additional fee, or can be rented separately.
Customer service at Minute Suites has also garnered varied feedback. One review described an "extremely unprofessional" front desk employee at the Concourse E location, who dismissed a request for a room change due to a flickering light and allegedly became rude, refusing to provide her name and using inappropriate language ("B***, I’m not giving you your name"). This incident, where a customer was charged but "never received the service," highlights a significant lapse in professional conduct. Conversely, other reviews praise staff for being "helpful," "empathetic," and "kind," suggesting that the service quality can be inconsistent. The primary service is providing a private space for rest or work, which is ideal for "social distancing" from crowded terminals. Nursing mothers can also receive a free 30-minute session in a private suite, a notable and compassionate feature.
Key features of Minute Suites include their unique hourly rental model. Stays can be booked for a minimum of one hour, with additional 15-minute increments. They also offer an extended 8-hour overnight flat rate, typically after 9 PM. While the daybed sofa is designed to sleep two, some taller individuals (e.g., over 5' tall) found it uncomfortable for sleeping, with their "feet hanging off one end and my head hanging off the other." Some suites have trundle beds to accommodate more guests, but the overall space is compact. There are no room service or dining options; guests must procure food and beverages from the airport terminal, though snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the Minute Suites counter. The suites are equipped with a desk and chair for work, and the integrated sound-masking system aims to provide a quiet environment, although some airport announcements may still be audible, especially in suites closer to the main hallway. The presence of numerous power outlets is a positive feature for travelers needing to recharge multiple devices.
Promotional information for Minute Suites often involves partnerships with travel loyalty programs. A significant benefit for many users is access through Priority Pass memberships, which typically grant one free hour of stay, with discounted rates for additional hours. Standard hourly rates can be substantial, with a one-hour minimum starting around $55 and an overnight 8-hour stay around $175 (though prices can vary). For those without Priority Pass, the cost can quickly add up, making a traditional off-airport hotel a more economical choice for longer stays or overnight accommodation, especially if comfort (e.g., private bathroom, larger bed) is a priority. Minute Suites occasionally offers discounts for military personnel, pilots, and airline employees. Reservations can be made online or directly at the location, but walk-ins are subject to availability. It's crucial for guests to inquire about all terms and conditions, including cancellation policies, as noted by a review where an overnight reservation cancelled less than 12 hours prior resulted in no refund.
In summary, Minute Suites ATL - Concourse T (and its other ATL locations) caters to a very specific niche within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category: travelers who require a private, quiet space inside the airport terminal for short periods of rest or work. Its primary strengths are its convenient, airside location, hourly booking flexibility, and basic amenities designed for quick rejuvenation. However, potential guests should be fully aware of the limitations, including the compact size of the suites, the shared bathroom facilities (and potential cleanliness issues with them), the comfort level of the daybed for taller individuals, and the documented instances of poor customer service from certain staff members. While it can be an invaluable option for a quick nap or focused work during a layover, especially for Priority Pass members who get a free hour, for comfortable overnight sleep or privacy in a full bathroom, a traditional hotel near the airport might be a more suitable and potentially cost-effective alternative, despite requiring exiting the secure area.

Apr 15, 2025 · Ardeina DavisMinute Suites – Concourse E, Atlanta Airport I had a terrible experience at this location on 3/30/25 at 6 pm. The front desk employee was extremely unprofessional. My assigned room had a flickering light, and when I requested a change, she dismissed me, saying she couldn’t do anything. I waited 20 minutes while she checked in other customers to available rooms but ignored my request. When I pressed for a solution, she became rude, told me to leave or go to Concourse F, and refused to provide her name, responding with, *“B***, I’m not giving you my name.”* She also refused to let me speak to a supervisor. I was charged but never received the service. This level of customer treatment is unacceptable. Kindly request Minute Suites to address this issue
Apr 02, 2025 · Subhash RaoFront desk ladies were both rude, I get it’s a job, but can you at least try? Other than that, it was a nice break for an hour.
Mar 27, 2025 · Gerard BottomleyWe were very tired and could not find any hotels but saw this. It has little rooms but we slept there for a couple hours and felt much better. The room was clean and was very calming for everyone. The lady was friendly and even gave us the biggest room. It is very easy to miss but am thankful for it and hope it stays. Overall would stay again.
