I would definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends and family who need a hotel near the airport. It's the most affordable option in the Gateway hotel area, and the Sky Train service is so convenient. The reason for 4 stars are the noise, the lack of a self park option, and the pillows. I couldn't really hear my neighbors, but I could hear the housekeeping carts roll on floors above and below and the slamming of doors. We were sleeping late into the day because our flight landed at 1am, and it was just impossible to drown out the noise during daytime. Nighttime sleeping went okay during our second night. The two pillows were not good. The mattress and room temp were fine, but those darn pillows would not allow me to get good and comfy. The hotel and rooms are clean. The bathroom was spotless! Also, I wish it was self park, so we didn't have to use valet each time because it does take time to get your car, but the valet workers are very nice, and the area felt safe when you had to leave your car for them if they were busy. The valet parking price is the cheapest of the hotels in the area, but I just rather be able to come and go on my own. Great experience overall.

Mar 31, 2025 · Mallory IIf you are flying out early, this is the hotel for you! We dropped off our rental car and took the airport train to the hotel stop. We walked about a block to the hotel. Our check in was fast. It was so quiet. The breakfast was a huge variety of pancakes, waffles, two kinds of eggs, sausage, muffins, oatmeal, cereals,etc. We will definitely stay here again if flying from Atlanta. So simple, fast and easy.
Apr 29, 2025 · Laurie SteinkeI stayed here from 4/23 to 4/25. I initially booked for 4/23–4/24, then about a week before arriving, I extended my stay to depart on 4/25. When I returned from work in the afternoon of 4/24, my room card wasn’t working. The front desk said the system treated the extension to 4/25 as a new booking, so I had been checked out. The woman at the front desk gave me a new card for the same room. Upon arrival at my room, all of my belongings were gone — all of my clothes, toiletries, and some vitamins — about $300 worth. When I left on 4/25, they still had not found my belongings. The front desk woman was very nice and gave me a toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant the night of 4/24. She was great. When it became clear they didn’t know where my belongings were, I asked what the process was for getting reimbursed. One of the less helpful front desk attendants said, "Nope, we not responsible for your stuff." The last I heard before I left was that they were reviewing camera footage to see who took my belongings. No one has followed up with me. I’ve emailed the GM several times and haven’t received a response.
Apr 28, 2025 · Andrew MI am an avid Hilton Honors member and love my Hilton hotels. Tru is located 5 minutes from the Atlanta airport which is a plus for me. I did not hear any planes that can make anyone's hotel stay not so good. I was greeted with TRU hospitality and directed to the elevator after receiving my 2 bottles of water. The room was clean the hardwood floors in the rooms as I am not a carpet person. The pillows were super soft which is not good for my neck but I have a travel pillow that fixed that problem. All in all, this will be a perfect stay on your next trip to Atlanta.

The rooms are clean, the breakfast has a great assortment of foods and beverages, the lobby is spacious and beautiful, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Two staff members that stand out for their exceptional service are Troy and Sue. They were very responsive to our needs and were down to earth and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. The location is very convenient to the airport and local shops and eateries. GREAT JOB, TRU! ❤️
