Many areas were not properly swept and mopped. The major concern for me was the elevator. One was out of order and the other hadn’t been inspected in 4 months. Major safety concern! One other thing to note, fun view of the airport and planes but don’t stay here if you are a light sleeper.

If you're there for the night, there's no need to leave. However, if you want to eat out, there are several restaurants within walking distance (about half a mile).

I booked a room over two weeks in advance, anticipating a late arrival between 5:00 and 6:00 AM. To ensure a smooth check-in, I called the hotel on my arrival day, confirming my late arrival. The front desk staff assured me this was acceptable and noted it on my reservation. However, at approximately 2:30 AM, while still three hours away, I received a call from a staff member. He aggressively questioned my arrival, despite the noted reservation. To my shock, he had cancelled my room via the app. He stated he might reinstate it if I arrived before his shift ended, condescendingly adding, "no one else would do this." He also claimed the hotel was fully booked, which seemed improbable, and insisted on running my card pre-audit, a highly unusual practice. The stress of seeing my confirmed reservation vanish while en route was immense. Despite this, I rebooked via the app upon arrival. To my utter disbelief, he cancelled my reservation a second time. Adding to the confusion and concern was the staff member’s identity. While he identified himself as "Keith", he was wearing a badge that clearly displayed the name "Evans". This discrepancy raises serious questions about the staff's professionalism and transparency. Furthermore, this individual charged my credit card three separate times, with three different amounts. This unauthorized and confusing financial activity is completely unacceptable. Additionally, my hotel app is now showing two separate reservations with two different confirmation numbers, indicating a complete breakdown in their reservation system. This double cancellation, combined with the multiple unauthorized charges, the identity discrepancy, and the reservation confusion, is utterly unacceptable. It reflects a complete disregard for confirmed reservations, basic customer service, and standard financial practices. The staff member's behavior was unprofessional, his claims were questionable, and the financial irregularities and reservation errors are deeply concerning. I demand a thorough investigation, a full refund for all unauthorized charges, and a direct conversation with management. This experience has solidified my unwavering loyalty to Marriott and Hilton, where I consistently receive reliable service. I strongly advise potential guests to avoid the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Airport at all costs. This level of incompetence, financial mismanagement, and disregard for confirmed reservations is unacceptable and highlights a severe management failure. 4/1/25: Spoke with GM who was completely the opposite of the staff. Apr 01, 2025 · John BryantDepending on your needs, this hotel may be the place to stay. The room and bathroom were large. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. If you are looking for the microwave, it looked like every floor had one near the ice machine. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. A highlight of the stay! There is food a short walk or ride from the hotel. Breakfast costs $$$ unless it's covered with your reservation. Expect a few warm items but in general not worth the money. The workout room was nice with everything you would expect. You might want to check if the towels are stocked before starting.... Depending on your business in the area this might be the best location for you. There are a few businesses nearby making this location ideal for walking. The shuttle (every 30 minutes) from the airport is a bonus too. There are a lot of options, stay closest to your needs.
